New York to Track Residents’ Food Purchases and Place ‘Caps on Meat’ Served by Public Institutions

New York City will begin tracking the carbon footprint of household food consumption and putting caps on how much red meat can be served in public institutions as part of a sweeping initiative to achieve a 33% reduction in carbon emissions from food by 2030.

New York City will begin tracking the carbon footprint of household food consumption and putting caps on how much red meat can be served in public institutions as part of a sweeping initiative to achieve a 33% reduction in carbon emissions from food by 2030.

Mayor Eric Adams and representatives from the Mayor’s Office of Food Policy and Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice announced the new programs last month at a Brooklyn culinary center run by NYC Health + Hospitals, the city’s public healthcare system, just before Earth Day.

At the event, the Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice shared a new chart to be included in the city’s annual greenhouse gas inventory that publicly tracks the carbon footprint created by household food consumption, the Gothamist reported.

The city already produced emissions data from energy use, transportation and waste as part of the annual inventory. But the addition of household food consumption data is part of a partnership that London and New York launched with American Express, C40 Cities and EcoData lab, Commissioner Rohit Aggarwala from the NYC Department of Environmental Protection announced at the event.

Aggarwala — who founded Google smart city subsidiary Sidewalk Labs — celebrated the expanded data collection as forging “a new standard for what cities have to do” and a new way to shape policy.

He said the inventory also will measure greenhouse gas pollution from the production and consumption of other consumer goods like apparel, whether or not those items are made in New York City. It also tracks emissions tied to services like air travel and healthcare.

But Adams’ presentation at the event focused on food consumption, particularly meat and dairy.

“Food is the third-biggest source of cities’ emissions right after buildings and transportation,” Adams said. “But all food is not created equal. The vast majority of food that is contributing to our emission crises lies in meat and dairy products.”

He added:

“It is easy to talk about the emissions that’s coming from buildings and how it impacts our environment, but we now have to talk about beef. And I don’t know if people are ready for this conversation.”

Adams — a vegan who, according to a whistleblower, also eats fish, credits his “plant-based diet” for his recovery from diabetes. He is the author of “Healthy at Last: A Plant-Based Approach to Preventing and Reversing Diabetes and Other Chronic Illnesses,” a vegan cookbook.

Adams claims that changing New Yorkers’ eating habits will have both climate and health benefits. He said:

“We already know that a plant-powered diet is better for your physical and mental health, and I am living proof of that. But the reality is that thanks to this new inventory, we’re finding out it is better for the planet.”

What books are read is never revealed, and by not letting the Guardians of Divinity enter the library (even after the story hour)  they must be hiding something. Popular books:  This Book is Gay; Gender Queer; Beyond Magenta; Jacobs New Dress; Drag Dictionary and OUT!(How to be your Authentic Self).

These books are found in the libraries and in our schools, clearly setting the stage for easy grooming.

Meanwhile, the so called ‘DEFENDERS” bang on anything metal, slap rattles and shake tambourines, noise pollution for all who pass by while “giving the bird” to the Guardians of Divinity…. for the kids to see and hear.

Across 53rd, the Guardians of Divinity defend the innocence of the children with signs like  “Let the Kids be Kids” and “Save the Children” from groomers.

And they welcomed explaining the issues to passersby. Many stopped to chat.

Except for one F-You guy who angrily shouted as he passed by the Guardians.

IRS removes investigative team from Hunter Biden probe in move whistleblower calls ‘clearly retaliatory’

WASHINGTON — The IRS on Monday removed the “entire investigative team” from its long-running tax fraud probe of first son Hunter Biden in alleged retaliation against the whistleblower who recently contacted Congress to allege a cover-up in the case, The Post has learned.

The purge allegedly was done on the orders of the Justice Department, the whistleblower’s attorneys informed congressional leaders in a letter.

“Today the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Supervisory Special Agent we represent was informed that he and his entire investigative team are being removed from the ongoing and sensitive investigation of the high-profile, controversial subject about which our client sought to make whistleblower disclosures to Congress. He was informed the change was at the request of the Department of Justice,” Mark Lytle and Tristan Leavitt wrote.

The whistleblower, who supervised the Hunter Biden probe since early 2020, hasn’t publicly identified the first son as the subject of the case that he says is being brushed under the rug, but congressional sources confirmed it.

“On April 27, 2023, IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel appeared before the House Committee on Ways and Means. He testified: ‘I can say without any hesitation there will be no retaliation for anyone making an allegation or a call to a whistleblower hotline.’ However, this move is clearly retaliatory and may also constitute obstruction of a congressional inquiry,” the lawyers went on.

Special Counsel John Durham released a 306-page report on Monday detailing how Democrat operatives packaged and sold a lie to the all-too-believing Obama administration FBI that former President Donald Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election.

For more than six years now, corrupt corporate media and Democrats have rallied around that allegation as evidence that Trump shouldn’t hold office. But Durham’s latest report, much like previous investigations into the Russian collusion hoax, once again found that there was no evidence of collusion from the beginning.

Despite repeated smears and pushback from the ruling class and professional hoaxing outlets like The New York Times, Durham uncovered several red flags that should have dissuaded the FBI from opening its “seriously flawed” Crossfire Hurricane investigation into the Trump campaign — but didn’t because the agency was too wrapped up in its hatred for the 2016 Republican presidential candidate.

“Throughout the duration of Crossfire Hurricane, facts and circumstances that were inconsistent with the premise that Trump and/or persons associated with the Trump campaign were involved in a collusive or conspiratorial relationship with the Russian government were ignored or simply assessed away,” Durham continued.

Durham says it was “confirmation bias” at “minimum” that led to the FBI’s years-long malfeasance. Even before the investigation commenced, he noted, many of the people involved “expressed their open disdain for Trump,” demanded knowledge of when an investigation into Trump would occur, and “asserted that they would prevent Trump from becoming President.”

Three FBI officials will testify on alleged ‘abuses of power’ by FBI leadership – ranging from discrimination against conservatives to inflation of domestic terrorism statistics – during a public whistleblower hearing by the House Select Committee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government Thursday, DailyMail.com has learned exclusively.

Rep. Jim Jordan, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee and head of the select committee, has secured the in-person testimony of suspended FBI special agents Garret O’Boyle and Steve Friend, as well as former FBI State Operations Specialist Marcus Allen. President of Empower Oversight Tristian Leavitt will also be testifying.

The O’Boyle and Friend participated in a closed door transcribed interview in February conducted by the select committee.

According to notes from the interview, the former agents specifically expressed concerns with instructions from FBI leadership that they focus on pursuing ‘domestic violent extremism’ probes and disregard standard investigative procedures in January 6 cases.

The hearing is set to be held at 9 a.m. ET Thursday and will focus on the ‘abuses of power’ the former officials witnessed. They will be given the opportunity to detail how they have been ‘retaliated’ against by the FBI, according to a source familiar.

In addition, the former officials told the committee that they were instructed to pursue Jan. 6 investigations over child sex crime cases, because they were ‘no longer a priority.’

Specifically, the former agents accuse the FBI of inflating statistics on ‘domestic violent extremism’ to fit the Biden administration’s political narrative that extremism is on the rise nationwide.

‘The manipulative casefile practice creates false and misleading crime statistics, constituting false official federal statements,’ Friend wrote in an affidavit.

‘Instead of hundreds of investigations stemming from an isolated incident at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, FBI and DOJ officials point to significant increases in domestic violent extremism and terrorism around the United States.’

Roosevelt Hotel into asylum-seeker center as migrants overload the area

New York City said it will open its first asylum-seeker arrival center to supplement its existing overflowing hotels in the city.

As hundreds of asylum-seekers and illegal immigrants have arrived daily, New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced in a press release that the historic Roosevelt Hotel will become a “centralized intake center for all arriving asylum-seekers.” The mayor said the center would provide migrants with “access to a range of legal, medical, and reconnection services, as well as placement, if needed, in a shelter or humanitarian relief center,” according to CNN.

The announcement came about a week after the city began sending migrants to different counties, sparking declarations of emergency and executive orders to protect smaller districts against having to house the influx of people.

Rockland County and Orange County implemented executive orders barring hotels, motels, and other facilities from allowing short-term rentals for migrants or asylum-seekers.

The Big Apple’s new welcome center at the Roosevelt, which was closed after nearly 100 years during COVID-19 lockdowns, hopes to address the growing number of emergency shelters and migrant arrivals. According to CNN, the city has processed over 65,000 migrants with 35,000 still unprocessed, with over 140 shelters opened.

Hotels in New York City have suffered from the city’s apparent good deeds, however, including the Watson Hotel, whose migrants refused relocation after seeing the shelter they were to be moved to. A “mini riot” was described when authorities were “moving single [adult] males from the Watson Hotel to Brooklyn Cruise Terminal, as [they] transition the hotel to meet the large number of asylum seeking families with children.”

As well, “tons” of food have been reportedly thrown out from the Row NYC hotel, a four-star lodging near New York City’s famous Times Square. Migrants, apparently upset with the quality of food provided, allegedly have preferred to cook on hot plates in the hotel rooms.

“While this new arrival center and humanitarian relief center will create hundreds of good-paying, union jobs and provide the infrastructure to help asylum-seekers reach their final destination, without federal or state assistance, we will be unable to continue treating new arrivals and those already here with the dignity and care that they deserve,” the mayor said.

Of course, the once-proud sanctuary city has placed blame outwardly, with Adams stating that “New York City has been left without the necessary support to manage this crisis.”

“With a vacuum of leadership, we are now being forced to undertake our own decompression strategy,” Mayor Adams added.

Full footage that emerged on social media this Sunday revealed that marine corps veteran Daniel Penny had placed Jordan Neely in a “recovery position” after subduing him on the New York City subway earlier this week, The Post Millennial is reporting.

Jordan Neely, a 30-year-old violent homeless man and repeat offender with over 40 prior arrests, died  after Penny, 24, allegedly had placed him into a chokehold on the F train. Neely had reportedly started behaving erratically and showing aggression towards other passengers.

DA Bragg to Charge Marine Hero Who Defended Passengers Against Subway Monster

DA Alvin Bragg came into office with a ‘day day memo’ promising not to prosecute the worst criminals.

His office will halt prosecution of several non-violent crimes including fare-beating, trespassing, resisting arrest and interfering with cops, unless they are part of a larger, felony case.

Prosecutors were also instructed to downgrade felonies to misdemeanors in certain cases. For instance, suspects initially charged with armed robbery of a store would get hit with petit larceny instead, a misdemeanor, provided no victims were seriously injured and there was no “genuine risk of physical harm,” the memo states.

When Jordan Neely assaulted a 67-year-old woman, breaking her nose and causing injuries to her head, the system colluded to set the deranged monster loose.

In November 2021, Mr. Neely’s aggression seemed to peak, when he punched a 67-year-old woman in the street on the Lower East Side, the police said. The woman suffered severe facial injuries, including a broken nose, according to court documents. He was charged with assault and, awaiting the resolution of his case, spent 15 months in jail, the police said, though his family said the stint was shorter.

He pleaded guilty on Feb. 9 of this year, in a carefully planned strategy between the city and his lawyers to allow him to get treatment and stay out of prison.

Jordan Neely had threatened to kill his grandfather, so his own grandparents wouldn’t let him in the house.

He had tried to abduct a 7-year-old girl, also punched a 64-year-old man and threatened to kill a gate agent. He was on the list of the 50 most unstable people in the subway system. And a pro-crime regime in New York City refused to do anything to stop the monster.

Finally, on a F train, a few men, including Daniel Penny, a former Marine, stood up to him and wouldn’t let him hurt any other women or young girls. Now a leftist-BLM lynch mob working with DA Bragg’s office has seen to it that Penny will be charged with manslaughter.

In the days following Neely’s death, attorneys representing Penny said Neely was “aggressively threatening” their client and that he and other passengers “acted to protect themselves.”

“Daniel never intended to harm Mr. Neely and could not have foreseen his untimely death,” Thomas Kenniff and Steven Raiser said in a May 5 statement.

Attorneys for Neely’s family said Penny should be sent to prison.

“He never attempted to help him at all,” Lennon Edwards and Donte Mills said in a May 8 statement.

The case sparked days of protests by demonstrators calling for justice for Neely.

The lynch mob gets what it wants again and the only people DA Alvin Bragg will prosecute are conservatives and heroes acting in self-defense against the violent criminals he set loose.

A Manhattan parking garage attendant who was shot twice while confronting an alleged thief — then wrestled the gun away and opened fire on the suspect — has been charged with attempted murder, police said.

One cop who heard of the attempted-murder charge against the parking garage worker snarled, “People like Alvin Bragg have made this city unsafe, and this worker is a victim defending himself.”

Previously, a bodega worker was charged after defending himself. Both cases involved minority men and were dropped after public outrage. But Penny is white, so Bragg will make an example out of him.

A former Biden administration official who oversaw a federal initiative against alleged disinformation filed a civil lawsuit against Fox News on Wednesday, alleging that the news outlet defamed her and damaged her career.

Nina Jankowicz, former head of the now-disbanded Disinformation Governance Board, alleged in a complaint filed Wednesday that Fox News, via figures like host Laura Ingram and former host Tucker Carlson, waged “a malicious campaign of destruction” against her that allegedly damaged her career and well-being.

“By particular, Fox described Jankowicz as moronic, an embarrassment to her parents and employers, and a ‘self-obsessed social media neophyte,’” reads the complaint, filed in the Delaware Superior Court on May 10.

Jankowicz’s lawyers allege that the purpose of these descriptions was “neither news nor political commentary,” but was intended to “denigrate Jankowicz’s character and professional reputation, particularly since they continued long after Jankowicz’s resignation from government.”

Court Blocks Biden Admin Policy of Releasing Illegal Immigrants Into US Without Court Dates, as Title 42 Expires

DHS Secretary Mayorkas says ‘the border is not open’ in midnight statement

A federal judge in Florida has issued a two-week restraining order on the Biden administration’s policy of releasing illegal immigrants into the United States without court dates, just hours before Title 42 was due to expire.

Judge T. Kent Wetherell II, an appointee of former President Donald Trump, issued a temporary restraining order on Thursday night against the Biden administration’s new parole policy that would have replaced Title 42, the measure that allowed for the immediate expulsion of illegal border crossers to Mexico during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The temporary restraining order comes into place from 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, according to court filings (pdf).

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody, who sued the Biden administration over the policy, announced the ruling on Twitter late Thursday.

“We took swift action to protect the American people from [President Joe Biden’s] unlawful plan to release thousands of illegal immigrants when Title 42 lifts in an hour. I am grateful for the quick decision by the federal judge,” Moody wrote.

Moody argued the new policy is “materially identical” to a similar program, known as Parole plus Alternative to Detention (Parole + ATD), which was deemed unlawful by a Florida court in March.

The judge agreed, writing in his ruling the policy was “materially indistinguishable” from Parole + ATD, “both in its purpose” to reduce overcrowding at detention facilities and “manner of operation.”

Biden Admin Policy

Under the new policy outlined in a Department of Homeland Security memo, apprehended illegal immigrants could be released into the United States after processing without receiving an alien registration number or a court date.

The memo outlining the policy states that Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has the authority to “parole certain noncitizens into the United States” temporarily “on a case-by-case basis for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit.”

The new policy was set to replace the Title 42 public health order, as

it expires at midnight, to allow for the release of illegal border crossers under “parole with conditions.”

The studies show that the increased risk of infertility in DES daughters is due mainly to uterine or fallopian tube problems.

Males exposed to DES in utero have an increased risk of testicular abnormalities, including undescended testicles or development of cysts in the epididymis. There is also some evidence of increased risks of inflammation or infection of the testicles.

My point here is we will not know, for decades to come, all the damage done by the Covid vaccine on the those exposed in utero.

Leading OB-GYN Group Took $11 Million From CDC to Push COVID Shots on Pregnant Women, Documents Reveal

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention bankrolled the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists to the tune of $11 million to promote COVID-19 vaccination as “safe and effective” for pregnant women, according to an investigation published this week by attorney Maggie Thorp.

CDC to Push COVID Shots on Pregnant Women, Documents Reveal

Documents obtained by Thorp through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request revealed that the CDC and ACOG entered into multiple “cooperative agreements” to carry out work largely designed and controlled by the CDC and contingent on ACOG’s adherence to the CDC’s policies on COVID-19 infection and control.

ACOG is the “premier” professional membership organization for obstetricians and gynecologists with more than 60,000 members across the Americas, its website reports.

Broadly, the grants supported the development of social media communications strategies, toolkits supporting “effective COVID-19 vaccination conversations” between doctors and patients, and the hiring of a global public health communications firm, APCO Worldwide, to produce various communications materials.

According to Thorp, from December 2020, when the vaccines came on the market, through July 21, 2021, ACOG held a neutral position on vaccination during pregnancy, recommending that pregnant women “be free to make their own decision regarding COVID-19 vaccination.”

But that recommendation “abruptly changed on July 30, 2021,” Thorp said, to recommend vaccination for pregnant women.

Today, ACOG “recommends that all eligible persons aged 6 months and older, including pregnant and lactating individuals, receive a COVID-19 vaccine or vaccine series,” and a booster.

The money for the grants comes from COVID-19-related federal funding opportunities, such as the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act and the CARES Act, according to the grant documents.

Grant recipients, and any “flow-down” organizations they may award money from these grants to, must comply with “existing and future directives and guidance” from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the CDC’s parent organization, regarding the control and spread of COVID-19.

That also includes sharing any data collected in grant-funded activities, including COVID-19 testing data, with the CDC.

‘Vast, covert government operation unleashed … at the height of our fear and isolation’

This CDC-ACOG collaboration forms part of the CDC’s and HHS’ strategic approach to COVID-19 vaccination encapsulated in its “We Can Do This” public education campaign.

Through the campaign, HHS and CDC sought in their own words to “motivate behavior change,” through strategic messaging, often developed by public relations firms, using “market research, key messages, partnerships and outreach, paid and earned media, and sample creative,” across all areas of people’s lives.

With $3 billion in federal funding from the Biden White House for states to distribute to local agencies and nonprofits and hundreds of millions of dollars in direct grants to medical associations and nonprofits, the HHS and CDC sought to train and fund “trusted messengers” such as teachers, religious leaders, social media influencers, community leaders and members and others, who would deliver the CDC’s message, but without the CDC’s brand.

This also included, Thorp wrote, creating the COVID-19 Community Corps — reminiscent of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Civilian Conservation Corps work relief program that put millions to work during the Great Depression — described as “a nationwide, grassroots network of local voices people know and trust to encourage Americans to get vaccinated.”

The COVID-19 Community Corps targeted “vaccine-hesitant” populations, including pregnant women, Thorp’s investigation revealed.

Thorp called the “trusted messengers” the CDC’s “Trojan horses” that used interpersonal relations of trust to enter into people’s personal lives and communicate the CDC’s message.

She told The Defender:

“I think what is most disturbing is that the government was targeting these interpersonal relationships by using people who were in our inner circles at a time when everyone felt isolated and fearful.

“Interpersonal relationships were exploited in a way that I personally felt was very unethical because it exploited and capitalized on people’s vulnerabilities. Many felt isolated from so many people and their normal activities and routines.

“It was essentially a vast, covert government operation unleashed on us when we were at our most vulnerable, at the height of our fear and isolation.”

CDC, ACOG had data showing risks to pregnant women but pushed vaccines anyway

Dr. James Thorp, board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and maternal-fetal medicine physician who also contributed to the research, told The Defender he thought it was particularly troubling that regulatory agencies and medical associations were aware of risks to pregnant women and yet pushed the vaccines.

Red flags in Pfizer’s data regarding the possible adverse effects of the vaccines for pregnant women were leaked in 2021, according to James Thorp. He said:

“They had the data. So they must have said, ‘Okay, we’re not going to be transparent with the data. We’re going to denigrate their data and our own data (VAERS and Pfizer 5.3.6), and suggest that — all the morbidity and danger signals and mortality, we’re just gonna brush it off.

‘And we’re going to spend $13 billion on psychological operations, fifth-generation war, to convince everybody in the world that it is safe and effective and necessary in the most vulnerable populations: pregnant women, pre-born and newborn babies, and the next most vulnerable population, children.’”

“It’s one thing when you’re trying to pull off this mass marketing campaign using marketing tactics that companies have been using for years to sell regular products such as candies, foods or clothing,” James Thorp said, “But they’re doing this with untested gene therapy products in pregnancy.

He added:

“The Department of Defense, HHS, CDC, ACOG, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and others are unequivocally attempting to abolish a highly-revered, God-ordained, gold standard doctrine that has been memorialized and honored and has withstood the scientific test of time over millennia: Never give novel substances in pregnancy without short-term and long-term outcome studies in the offspring.

“I will not allow this charade to continue. The reproductive toxicology studies are damning as evidenced by Alexandra Latypova, a 30-year veteran of the pharmaceutical industry demonstrating major problems — miscarriages, birth defects and many other concerns.

“Did not these governmental agencies and medical organizations learn their lessons from the thalidomide and diethylstilbestrol [DES] disasters of the last century? The COVID-19 gene therapies make thalidomide and DES look like prenatal vitamins.

“If one does not understand history they will be destined to repeat it on an even grander scale.”

Maggie Thorp added that if the HHS and CDC were directing people’s behavior as they explicitly sought to through these grants, “Then there is no informed consent happening.”

CDC participated in ‘all aspects of carrying out’ ACOG grants

The cooperative agreements stipulated by the CDC would have “substantial programmatic involvement” after the grant is awarded. Above and beyond the monitoring and review typical of CDC grants, in these cases, CDC program staff would also “assist, coordinate, or participate in all aspects of carrying out the awards.”

Maggie Thorp identified the grants on USAspending.gov and got the details through a FOIA request, but the response was heavily redacted.

One grant set an April 30, 2021, deadline — which she noted was prior to when ACOG publicly recommended vaccination for pregnant women — to create an “Emergency Resource Request Tool (ERR)” to target OB-GYNs “and the women they serve.”

The purpose of the ERR tools changed over time. By March 2022, they were focused on “developing, maintaining, and promoting tools to combat misinformation on COVID-19, which has emerged as a significant barrier to the uptake of vaccination during pregnancy,” Maggie Thorp quoted from the FOIA documents.

Another ERR tool involved developing some type of communications tool — it is unclear from the redacted FOIA specifically what it entailed — that would be piloted by ACOG and the American Academy of Pediatrics, which is another COVID-19 Community Corps member.

Another $300,000 went to a contract with APCO Worldwide, “a global public health communication vendor” to develop a COVID-19 Social Media Communications toolkit to provide “key messaging and talking points around COVID-19 for dissemination,” to create virtual training sessions for ACOG members, and to develop a podcast series for members to keep them up-to-date on CDC recommendations.

In October 2021, a multi-year grant addressing breast cancer and other maternal health issues was revised to direct $3,000,000 toward “Engaging Women’s Health Care Providers for Effective COVID-19 Vaccine Conversations” and $300,000 toward “Improving Ob/Gyn’s Ability to support COVID-19 Vaccination, Mental Health, Social Support.”

That grant was renewed in 2022, with $2 million toward the “Vaccines Conversations” effort.

Rather than coordinate plans and messages with its membership, ACOG, in exchange for this grant money, committed to working closely with the CDC, sharing information and efforts, discussing recommendations and meeting frequently to “ensure that recommendations are aligned between the two organizations.”

Clinicians told to document vaccine refusal in medical records

Specific details of the grants were heavily redacted in the FOIA documents Maggie Thorp received. But she pointed to ACOG’s website for evidence of the grant work. On one page, the organization offers a “Conversation Guide” with messaging language on the vaccine for physicians.

The key advice to clinicians is that all pregnant women should be vaccinated and boosted at any time in their pregnancy, that those who refuse should have it documented in their record, and that follow-up visits should focus on continuing to try to convince them to accept vaccination.

Or, in Maggie Thorp’s words, clinicians were to “urgently push the COVID-19 shots in pregnant patients blindly and repeatedly, without the need for offering informed consent. If you cannot convince the patient to take the COVID-19 ‘vaccine, document this discussion in the patient’s electronic medical record’ for what is likely reporting to the CDC.”

The website also lists “key messages” that should be communicated to pregnant women, including that COVID-19 is quite dangerous for pregnant women, and that there “may be” increased risk of stillbirth. But, the “messaging list” says, there are no “maternal or fetal” effects associated with the COVID-19 vaccines, proven by a “growing body of evidence.”

A striking level of collusion, as Biden’s officers use an encrypted online chat room to tell Mexico when to let migrants swim across

MATAMOROS, Mexico – In recent days, large crowds of immigrants have formed on the Mexican side of the Rio Grande fully prepared to swim over well-worn crossing spots to Brownsville – but seemingly held back by unarmed Mexican immigration officials.
Over the course of several recent days in this northeastern Mexican city when perhaps 3,000 immigrants a day swam over to Brownsville with no opposition on either side, a curious pattern became evident. At some sort of signal from the Mexican immigration officers, a group of about 100-150 from the crowd would suddenly stand in unison and rush down the riverbank, past the immigration officers, and swim over to America.

It turns out that this pattern was far from happenstance. The Center for Immigration Studies asked several of the Mexican immigration officers what was going on and learned that President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security has been coordinating these mass swims with Mexico’s immigration service, INM, at high levels on an encrypted Whatsapp channel.

The officers explained that their senior officers were in touch with U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials about how many immigrants were gathered and were prepared to cross the river at any given time.

“We’re letting them know that there’s a group of people ready to cross,” one officer explained.

The Americans on the other side would ask the Mexicans to hold back the migrants – not because such crossings are illegal and should be blocked and obstructed, but only until the Americans had finished processing the last batch into the country through Brownsville. Once the Americans felt they could take in more, they message the Mexicans that “they are ready to receive them.” Then, senior officials would radio the on-ground immigration officers, all of whom are equipped with radios.

Next, the officers signal to the waiting crowd to go forward and, once they figure enough are in the water, they cut off the rest and push and cajole them back into line until the Americans signal they’re ready again.

The Mexican officers said the Americans initiated this system in late April but could only guess at why – perhaps to better manage the processing of very high recent numbers of crossings. But the collaboration explains why Mexican immigration officers are stationed at the river at all, and raises many questions.

CBP did not immediately respond to CIS’s telephoned and emailed messages for comment.

But the process, which has never been publicized, amounts to a “controlled-flow” system most often used, controversially, by Colombia, Panama, and Costa Rica, to facilitate mass illegal migration to the U.S. border rather than incur the expense and trouble of blocking it in those countries.

Controlled-flow by the Biden administration’s DHS with Mexico also constitutes a highly unusual U.S. policy that demonstrates formal acquiescence to illegal immigration and an official willingness to accommodate mass illegal immigration rather than stopping, blocking, or deterring it, as required by law.

It remains unclear as the Title 42 expedited removal power comes to an end at midnight on 5/11, and is replaced by a new policy, if the controlled-flow scheme will continue working.

Numerous times in Matamoros, CIS witnessed migrants charge the Mexican immigration officers and pour into the river ahead of “schedule.”

Dozens of the migrants openly argued with the Mexican officers to let them through. But the officers argued back that they had to be patient, lest children or adults drown in uncontrolled crossings.

Mexico seemed to signal a willingness to use muscle if necessary to maintain the controlled-flow arrangement. Late Tuesday, as the crowd grew visibly restive, a squad of armed Mexican National Guard showed up and began patrolling the line.

Federal agents placed on standby in case of riots as Title 42 ends

After days of panic, with thousands of migrants crossing over the southern border in a last-minute attempt to claim asylum before the rules changed, Title 42 has ended.

In the final hours before the pandemic-era measure expired, forces along the border fortified their posts with barbed wire, concrete barriers and heavily armed teams patrolling their front lines.

Agents in tactical gear also held rehearsals for how to deal with rioters or mobs, should migrants attempt to move en masse across the border.

Federal agents also remain on standby in case of riots, sources told The Post.

But after Title 42 ended at midnight, border crossings in Texas and California remained quiet — with migrants remaining on the Mexican side of the border, waiting to be processed.

Despite Customs and Border Patrol apprehending over 10,000 people a day this week, there were an estimated 155,000 people still waiting in north Mexico with the intention of making it into the US, according to CNN.

Texas officials had warned of up to 13,000 people a day attempting to make it into the US after Title 42 ended.

Asylum seekers will now be processed under the earlier Title 8 measure instead.

As the sun set Thursday in Brownsville, Texas, groups of women and children were being helped across the Rio Grande river, which serves as the international boundary.

A new exhibit at a “very liberal” Manhattan church is raising some eyebrows for its religious take on gender identity.

The “God is Trans: A Queer Spiritual Journey” display at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle has some parishioners scratching their heads — and seems to run counter to the Catholic Church’s stance on the transgender community.

“The church should not be promoting this,” one irate parishioner told The Post. “I understand there are transgender people. I pray for all people but enough is enough.

“It seems like they are trying to force the agenda on others,” they said. “Also, when a friend asked a priest about this they didn’t answer. You can’t put this out on the altar and then hide.

“That’s what gets the church in trouble.”

The display by artist Adah Unachukwu is described as a queer spiritual journey in three steps: Sacrifice, Identity and Communion.

According to the exhibit, Sacrifice represents the need to “shed an old life.” Identity is described as “the most impactful part” of the display, asking the question, ‘What does holiness look like?’

Communion places “God and the mortal on the same plane.”

While some took offense, others saw it as representative of the traditionally liberal Big Apple parish.

“I don’t understand the art, but this church is very liberal, which is why I love this church,” said Cherri Ghosh, 80, who stopped by to admire the exhibit on Sunday.

“They are really in the present when others are not,” she said.

Another admirer said he’s been coming to the church for decades — and liked what he saw.

“The queer community has been accepted here for a long time now,” said Bill O’Connor, 79. “It’s wonderful having this here and a wonderful church.

FBI refuses to give Congress informant file alleging Biden took bribes as vice president

WASHINGTON — The FBI has refused to give Congress an informant file alleging that President Biden took bribes while he was vice president, The Post has learned — setting up a possible showdown over access to the information.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) issued a legally binding subpoena last week requiring the FBI to turn over the file by noon Wednesday, but the bureau instead replied with a six-page letter raising various objections.

“Information from confidential human sources is unverified and, by definition, incomplete,” wrote FBI acting assistant director for congressional affairs Christopher Dunham, who also argued that informant reports must also be kept private to protect sources.

“As is clear from the name itself, confidentiality is definitional to the FBI’s Confidential Human Source program,” Dunham wrote. “Confidential human sources often provide information to the FBI at great risk to themselves and their loved ones. The information they provide also can create significant risks to others who may be referenced in their reporting.”

The FBI official concluded: “We … hope this helps you understand that keeping this kind of source information free from the perception or reality of improper influence — and preventing the redirection of this information for non-law enforcement or non-intelligence uses — is necessary for the FBI’s effective execution of our law enforcement and national security responsibilities.”

Comer slammed the FBI’s stonewalling, though he did not immediately announce further steps to acquire the document. Congress has the power to apply financial pressure to agencies or use litigation to enforce orders.

“It’s clear from the FBI’s response that the unclassified record the Oversight Committee subpoenaed exists, but they are refusing to provide it to the Committee,” Comer said.

We’ve asked the FBI to not only provide this record, but to also inform us what it did to investigate these allegations,” he added. “The FBI has failed to do both. The FBI’s position is ‘trust, but you aren’t allowed to verify.’ That is unacceptable. We plan to follow up with the FBI and expect compliance with the subpoena.”

The FBI did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), who passed a whistleblower’s tip about the document to Comer, first broke the news that the FBI did not comply with the writ.

“They didn’t give us the unclassified document. They sent us a five or six-page letter that I haven’t studied thoroughly yet,” Grassley told The Post at the Capitol.

“They didn’t dispute that it exists — that the document exists or that it is unclassified … why they haven’t given it, I don’t know.”

The document subpoenaed by the Oversight Committee is an FD-1023 informant report that was “created or modified in June 2020″ — months before Biden won the presidency.
