Council, the legislative body representing Washington, D.C., sent a set of bills to Mayor Muriel Bowser’s desk on Tuesday, one of which will allow illegal immigrants to vote in local elections. The bill allowing illegal immigrants to vote passed on a near-unanimous 12-1 vote following its first reading earlier this week, after languishing in the city council for a decade. It expands previous legislation which allowed green-card holders to vote… There are believed to be over 50,000 illegals in the District of Columbia. The bill was passed alongside another initiative that would make mail-in voting a permanent feature of elections (National Review). Fox News: Under the D.C. Home Rule Act, members of Congress are able to block bills passed by the legislature and cleared by the mayor. Once the bill is submitted, it can be voted down if the House and Senate pass Cotton’s resolution of disapproval within 30 days, or else the law will take effect. “Allowing illegal immigrants to vote is an insult to every voter in America,” Cotton, R-Ark., told Fox News Digital. “Every single Democrat should be on the record about whether they support this insane policy” (Fox News).

The Washington Post reported that layoffs at Twitter are bound to happen in the coming months, no matter who owns the platform, as the company wants to cut about $800 million (€820 million) off its payroll.

According to the newspaper, plans to cut jobs and costs at the company were already in place before Musk made his offer to buy Twitter.

In July, Twitter announced it had slowed the hiring process in the midst of a general economic downturn affecting the tech industry at large.

Fact checkers (such as Ciara O’Rourke of PolitiFact) who claim that the vaccine didn’t cause the death of a person (in this case, Ray Liotta) can only make that claim if either:

1. The autopsy actually did the proper stains to look for vaccine involvement and found nothing. But only one pathologist in the US is doing these stains and in 100% of the cases he’s looked at so far, the vaccine was implicated in the death.
2. The family says that the deceased was never vaccinated with the COVID vaccine

Have you ever seen a sudden cardiac death since 2021 where either of the two conditions above were satisfied? I haven’t.

O’Rourke basically relies on the statement of Jennifer Allen, Ray Liotta’s publicist to determine the cause of his untimely death:

“The family has not released the cause of death yet, but I do know the cause, and (it) has nothing to do with COVID or the vaccine,” she told us in an email.

O’Rourke never describes Allen’s medical credentials. Why not?

Based on Allen’s statement, PolitiFact rates the claim that the vaccine caused Ray Liotta’s death as “Pants on fire” which is the worst possible PolitiFact rating.

Per RSBN, Gov. Abbott is leading his Democrat gubernatorial challenger, Beto O’Rourke, ahead of reelection by a substantial margin. A new Civiqs poll conducted Oct. 8-11 also found that Abbott was leading O’Rourke 52 percent to 44 percent.

“So McCarthy is now next in line with a base that is prepared to throw him out should they allow him to be speaker,” he added. “Kevin has decided to make his bed and is prepared to lie down with the lice, the fleas and the blood-sucking ticks.”

“And whatever befalls him is going to come from that relationship — and unfortunately for the country, we’re going to have to bear the brunt of it,” he said on TV.

Shockingly, a political analyst on a prominent cable news outlet was permitted by the network and its MAGA-loathing host, Wallace, to dehumanize millions of Donald Trump-aligned conservatives by comparing fellow Americans to parasites for simply having different political views from Democrats in power and RINOs who support them.

Knowing full well the dangers that despicably inflammatory rhetoric can have, Wallace, a former White House communications director for George W. Bush, didn’t push back or disagree with her guest spewing hate on her show. Nor did the network intervene. As of Wednesday afternoon, not one of Steele, Wallace, MSNBC president Rashida Jones or the network has issued a public apology on Twitter or its site.

Earlier on Fox News Wednesday, El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser denied Rodriguez’s allegation that he was pressured by the White House to avoid declaring the migrant influx an emergency in the city, insisting he made the decision himself.

“Absolutely not,” Leeser told host Dana Perino. “One of the things we need to learn and really make sure we do is that we take the politics out of this.”

Video footage from a September city council meeting, however, appears to show otherwise.

“As much as the mayor wants to say this is not a political issue, yeah, those comments would probably say otherwise,” she said Wednesday.

A Philadelphia gender clinic provided training materials to public school employees in a Pennsylvania district that asks educators to use students’ preferred names and pronouns without informing parents, according to training slides and emails obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller.

A Southern Lehigh School District guidance counselor emailed the training materials from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to several educators on Sept. 15, 2021. Several district employees attended the CHOP training off-site, and one disseminated the information to colleagues.

Approximately three weeks later, the district’s intermediate school principal sent an email to educators stating that they should not inform parents about a child’s perceived gender identity. The intermediate school’s vice principal was a direct recipient of the CHOP training materials.

The presentation obtained by the Caller called for schools to be “affirming” of a children’s perceived gender identities. Educators are encouraged to use the word “students” instead of “boys and girls” when referring to the classroom. CHOP also urged educators to include “examples of LGBTQ people in lessons,” beginning in elementary school.

CHOP recommends that elementary schoolers read books about pronouns, such as “They, She, He Easy As ABC,” and books about young boys dressing in drag, such as “Julian Is A Mermaid.” The materials also call on middle and high school classrooms to “critically examine roles and messages (now and throughout history)” and to “build allies and advocacy.”

The training goes on to encourage educators to “follow [a] child’s lead” and to “allow room for exploration” of his or her gender.

In separate training sessions provided by CHOP to school districts throughout Pennsylvania in 2020, the gender clinic told educators to keep students’ gender identities secret from parents.

“If we disclose this information without someone’s involvement, without them giving us permission, we are setting them up for a negative, potentially harmful, unsafe experience,” the training video says. “So when we get this information, we keep it private from other students, from other staff members and from parents.”…

Kari Lake Brings the Receipts When Confronted on ‘Election Denial’

Arizona’s gubernatorial race may not be having a debate, but Kari Lake is still making headlines. The Republican candidate has made a habit of going viral in her interactions with the press, and that happened again recently.

Once again, Lake was confronted with accusations of “election denial” because the mainstream media are the most boring people in the world. While normal Americans are focused on the economy and other issues that affect their daily lives, the only thing reporters seem to care about is asking about the 2020 election for the umpteenth time.

This time, though, Lake came ready to flip the script, bringing the receipts showing Democrats “denying” elections over the years. Her point? That the press is incredibly hypocritical in who they demand to show subservience to election results, even just rhetorically.

The setup for the question came from Lake’s recent interview with CNN’s Dana Bash. In it, the Republican made a quip about winning the election and accepting that result, essentially as an eye-roll to the question being asked in the first place. Anyone with an ounce of intellectual sentience knew what she was saying in turning that phrase. Still, we are talking about the national press, so her comment led to yet another round of hand-wringing that Lake supposedly wasn’t committing to accepting the results of the coming election.

Anyway, that led the reporter in the clip to rehash the ordeal, asking for Lake the address the outrage. That’s when she called over a campaign surrogate (I assume) with a stack of papers listing showing over 150 instances of Democrats denying the election results. Lake hit the White House’s Karine Jean-Pierre for claiming Brian Kemp “stole” the election in Georgia and continued from there, reading tweets and comments.

He won’t allow us to drill but he will deplete the last remaining emergency oil reserves to insure the Democrat coup is complete (mid-terms).

vFox News: The Biden administration is planning to release another 10 million to 15 million barrels of oil from the nation’s emergency stockpile in an effort to balance markets and prevent additional increases in gasoline prices. The release of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve would be the latest portion of a 180-million-barrel program that started earlier this year. The administration is also expected to provide details this week regarding its plans to restock the emergency oil stockpile (Fox News). Reuters: Rising retail gasoline prices have helped boost inflation to the highest in decades, posing a risk to Biden and his fellow Democrats ahead of the Nov. 8 midterm elections, in which they are seeking to keep control of Congress (Reuters).

It’s an interesting prediction. I believe the GOP must be led by true conservatives if the country has only hope of righting the ship. We must stop moving left to ‘get along’.  Any compromise between good and evil, evil profits.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld thinks he knows who former President Donald Trump will pick as his running mate if he makes another bid for the White House in 2024.

During a segment on “The Five,” Gutfeld and the co-hosts discussed former presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard leaving the Democratic Party. Gutfeld spoke highly of Gabbard, saying she is the “definition of an individual” and predicting she will be Trump’s running mate in 2024.

“The thing I like about Tulsi is that if she were to give you two opinions, you could not predict a third. She’s a definition of an individual. Like, I disagree with her on probably at least 30%, maybe 40% of things, but the boxes she ticks aren’t the boxes that Kamala ticks. Her boxes are achievements and ideas. That’s different than skin color and where she was born — not where she was born, but whatever her background is. So, I think that is what makes her so different. I have never seen her angry in my life. And just lastly, I think she’s going to be Trump’s VP. That’s where this is going,” Gutfeld said.

“But I do think when she said ‘the anti-white racism,’ she said something most people can’t say. That takes serious stones to say that, because it is true. I mean, in the Democratic Party they made it really clear that, you know, you can be racist against white people because they have it coming. And I think that’s why everybody is so desperately identifying as something else. ‘No, no, I’m not white!’ Everybody is finding something else to be. So that’s why you come to the Republican Party or you become an independent. Then you can be who you are, you don’t have to pretend,” he added.

Gabbard announced last week that she was leaving the Democratic Party and slammed “warmongers” and the “elitist cabal” on her way out.

Early 2022 Voting Outpaces Normal Midterm Election Numbers, Comparable to 2018: Data

About 2.7 million people have already voted in more than a dozen states that include early voting options, according to data released this week by a university. That figure is on par with the record turnout during the 2018 midterm elections, a professor concluded.

Of that figure, 2,353,531 people voted via mail-in ballots, while 337,852 cast their ballots in person, data from the University of Florida’s U.S. Elections Project shows. About a third of the early votes recorded so far have been cast in Florida alone, as more than 600,000 in the Sunshine State have cast ballots.

“It’s clear that we are above the 2018 midterm at the same point in time in states where we have comparable data to look at,” Michael McDonald, a professor at the University of Florida, told ABC News. “We can see the sorts of indicators that would suggest that we’re in for a high-turnout election, much like we had in 2018. And 2018 was the highest midterm turnout rate since 1914.”

Florida, which has a Republican governor and a Republican-controlled legislature, is leading the way so far, the data shows.

“Quite remarkable … considering that early voting is going on in many other states,” McDonald told ABC News. “Florida has been piling on another 100,000 every day, at this point. Florida’s really why the numbers have moved so quickly.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis last week signed an executive order that allows Hurricane Ian-hit areas more flexibility to request and cast ballots, including adding three days of early voting and rescinding certain voting requirements in several western coastal counties.

During an event on Saturday, DeSantis encouraged people to vote by mail.

“What I would say is whatever you like is fine. We’ve got good returns on absentee, and I have confidence in early voting, in person [voting], and of course Election day [voting],” the Republican governor said.

Between 2006 and 2018, in-person voting on Election Day decreased by about 20 percent—from 80 percent to 60 percent, according to research, with voters increasingly favoring early mail-in voting and early in-person voting.

McDonald said that recent trends in midterm voting might be a sign of things to come.

“What we’re observing here is that some people have changed their behavior. They’re either voting early, where they may not have done so in a past midterm election, or they’re voting sooner than they would have,” he told the outlet. “Those are both things that we saw in 2020, where people were not only voting by mail, and in-person early at greater frequencies then they had past elections, but they were also voting earlier than they had in prior presidential elections.”

A group of violent Philadelphia ATV drivers was caught on video attacking police by throwing bricks and bottles at the officers before fleeing the scene, police said.

The group unleashed its assault on police just one day after a Republican city councilman accused the administration of Mayor Jim Kenney, a Democrat, of instructing officers “not to enforce the law.”

The Philadelphia Police Department shared video on Tuesday showing “a large group of people riding dirt bikes and ATV’s” around a gas station near Delaware Avenue and Spring Garden Street, police said.

According to police, a dirt bike rider initially crashed a vehicle near the gas pumps and ran off. Investigators later determined the bike had been reported stolen from New Jersey.

Virginia counselor charged twice for sex crimes allowed to work for nearly two years

Fox News’ Mike Emmanuel reports on a Fairfax County, Virginia, twice-convicted sex offender who was allowed to work for nearly two years before being fired.

Nearly 270 public educators were arrested on child sex-related crimes in the U.S. in the first nine months of this year, ranging from grooming to raping underage students.

An analysis conducted by Fox News Digital found that from Jan. 1 to Sept. 30, at least 269 educators were arrested, which works out to roughly one arrest a day.

The 269 educators included four principals, two assistant principals, 226 teachers, 20 teacher’s aides and 17 substitute teachers.

At least 199 of the arrests, or 74%, involved alleged crimes against students.

The analysis looked at local news stories week by week featuring arrests of K-12 principals, assistant principals, teachers, substitute teachers and teachers’ aides on child sex-related crimes in school districts across the country. Arrests that weren’t publicized were not counted in the analysis, meaning the true number may well be higher.

Only 43 of the alleged crimes, or 16%, did not involve students. It is not known whether another 10% of the alleged crimes involved students.

Men also made up the vast majority, with over 80% of the arrests.

There are an estimated 3.2 million public school teachers in the country, meaning the arrests compiled by Fox News Digital make up only 0.0084%.

“The number of teachers arrested for child sex abuse is just the tip of the iceberg — much as it was for the Catholic Church prior to widespread exposure and investigation in the early 2000s,” Christopher Rufo, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “The best available academic research, published by the Department of Education, suggests that nearly 10% of public school students suffer from physical abuse between kindergarten and twelfth grade.”

“According to that research, the scale of sexual abuse in the public schools is nearly 100 times greater than that of the Catholic Church,” he said. “The question for critics who seek to downplay the extent of public-school sexual abuse is this: How many arrests need to happen before you consider it a problem? How many children need to be sexually abused by teachers before you consider it a crisis?”

Many of the arrests in Fox News Digital’s latest analysis involved especially heinous allegations.

Eugene Pratt, 57, a former principal, elementary school teacher and coach who taught at-risk youth in multiple Michigan public schools, was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct in August. He is accused of sexually assaulting at least 15 boys and young adult men during his education career spanning several decades.

Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson, whose office is investigating Pratt, told ClickOnDetroit in August that sexual predators often put themselves in a supervisory position so that they have easy access to victims.

“When you see positions that he held that involve being a principal, school administrator, counselor, GED coordinator, and even after he taught, where he was arrested last week out of New Paths, as a driver, as a transport officer,” Swanson said. “Individuals like Eugene Pratt put themselves in positions of authority over others in order to act on their prey and to find and identify vulnerable people.”
