Celeb-Funded Bail Group Closed After Helping Criminal Who Went On Crime and Shooting Spree

Mon, 12/26/2022 - 18:00

Danny Glover, John Legend and Richard Branson…..these dangerous, self-indulged morons, living behind iron gates with their own private security, never have to live with the consequences of their bone-headed, hate-filled actions.

Bail group shuts down after being sued for helping release serial offender who shot waiter

A California bail reform group backed by A-list celebrities has shut down after being sued for releasing a serial criminal who less than a week later tried to murder a waiter in Las Vegas.

The Bail Project — whose supporters include Danny Glover, John Legend and Richard Branson — announced it discontinued its operations due to restructuring in early December, 8 NewsNow reported.

Its closure comes after it posted a $3,000 bond for burglary suspect Rashawn Gaston-Anderson in December 2021.

Six days later, Gaston-Anderson shot Chengyan Wang 11 times in Chinatown, 8 NewsNow reported.

In a plea deal, the 24-year-old was convicted of attempted robbery and mayhem, both with deadly weapon enhancements, according to News 3 Las Vegas.

Gaston-Anderson was sentenced in December to seven to 18 years behind bars for the shooting.

The waiter, who was struck by seven rounds in the attack at Shanghai Taste, is suing the non-profit for its role in releasing Gaston-Anderson despite his criminal past.

Wang — who also is suing Gaston-Anderson and Shanghai Plaza owner US Hui De Real Estate Investment Corp. – is seeking over $15,000 in damages from each defendant, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

“He’s got scars all over his body. He can’t move his shoulder over a certain height. I don’t know how (the bullets) missed a vital artery,” the victim’s lawyer, Kory Kaplan, told the newspaper.

The lawsuit accuses The Bail Project of failing to take into account Gaston-Anderson’s potential danger to the community given his pending and past cases.

In 2018, he pleaded guilty to attempted grand larceny in Las Vegas and was sentenced to 18 months of probation.

The following year, he was convicted of felony burglary in New York and in 2021 he was convicted of auto theft in Illinois, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson told the news outlet.

In November 2021, he also was arrested for pandering and carrying a concealed weapon, 8 NewsNow reported.

He was reportedly released without bail and ordered to stay out of trouble.

However, he was arrested again the following day on burglary and theft charges. The repeat offender was then sprung from jail after the non-profit posted his $3,000 bond.

“Normally when bail is posted, a cash bail, it is a family member or friend who is familiar with the accused,” Wolfson told the Review-Journal.

“One can say, in a sense, they are vouching for the person. They are risking their own money. A family member comes forward, a brother, a friend, and if they put up $3,000 and this person doesn’t show up or re-offends, they lose their own money,” he said.

“In this case, we have an out-of-state national organization with little or no ties to our community who puts up the cash bail,” the prosecutor added.

2022: Biden’s Biggest Lies

Mon, 12/26/2022 - 16:00

Check out these whoppers. 81 million votes!

7 Big Biden Lies of 2022

BY: Spencer Brown, Townhall, December 24, 2022:\

As 2022 and President Biden’s first full calendar year in office comes to an end, the White House has been trying to frame his year as one of significant accomplishments and lots of “building back better.” But Americans — dealing with negative wage growth of more than three percent, struggling to make ends meet while living paycheck-to-paycheck, staring down a crime crisis in their neighborhoods, and watching fentanyl ravage their communities — know the opposite to be true.

While all administrations seek to spin current events to favor their agenda and narrative, Biden’s has taken the effort into full-blown falsehood territory, often requiring Americans to ignore the reality they see in order to believe what the president and his West Wing are claiming.

In no particular order, here are seven of President Biden’s biggest or most unforgivable whoppers of 2022.

1. “The economy is strong as hell”

Despite President Biden’s approval on the economy being 20 points underwater at the time he claimed there’s “nothing to see here” when it comes to the U.S. economy, this one is as literally unbelievable as one can get.

As Guy wrote at the time, the “ice cream cone flourish really offers extra Marie Antoinette vibes, making the optics even worse.” On Biden’s watch, gas prices surged to all-time highs, inflation surged to 40-year highs, the number of Americans living paycheck-to-paycheck surged, and the country entered a technical recession. If that’s “strong as hell,” we’d hate to see an economic situation Biden thinks is “bad.”

2. I “signed a law” to cancel student loan debt that passed “by a vote or two”

Where to begin? First, the president’s announcement about student loan debt was one of the most transparent attempts to mobilize young Democrat voters ahead of a midterm cycle in years. How do you do fellow kids? How about I take your student debt burden and pass it on to taxpayers who chose not to take on six-figure debts in order to get useless degrees?”

BIDEN: I “signed a law” to cancel student loan debt and “got it passed by a vote or two.” pic.twitter.com/AWKTlCjfeI

— Townhall.com (@townhallcom) October 24, 2022

Second, despite Biden’s claim, his student loan bailout was an executive order — not a bill passed by Americans’ elected representatives. Biden’s complicated lie even included a phony vote margin which raises even more questions about Biden’s ability to know what’s going on around him.

Lastly, Biden’s student debt plan that sought to get young people out to the polls in the midterms to vote for Democrats — with a simple bribe of essentially “free” money that just meant all Americans would share the burden of student debt — predictably did not pan out. Those who turned out to vote because Biden promised to bail them out are now the suckers looking at their unchanged debt balances.

3. “Jim Crow 2.0”

As usual, President Biden refuses to back down from lies even when clear evidence contradicts his claims, typified by his false smears of Georgia’s election integrity law. Despite Biden’s frequent attempts to say the legislation was little more than an attempt at racist disenfranchisement, it’s just never been true.

Joe is back to calling election integrity efforts "Jim Crow 2.0" pic.twitter.com/CeraLgK0ze

— Townhall.com (@townhallcom) January 11, 2022

“How many times do we have to tell you this old man?!” The midterm cycle in Georgia — both the primaries, general election, and runoff — saw turnout beating cycle and single-day participation numbers seen in 2018 and 2020. Voters were not disenfranchised by Georgia’s law. Instead, more Georgians voted in the 2022 midterms than in the previous midterm cycle. Could it be that voters are more energized to participate when they know their vote will count and not be potentially canceled out by fraudulent ballots? Still, Biden won’t admit he was wrong and kept up his lies through 2022 — the same ones that saw him successfully urge Major League Baseball to yank the All-Star Game from Atlanta previously — that Georgia was a bastion of racist voter suppression.

4. “No national plan to get Americans vaccinated”

In yet another literally unbelievable lie from President Biden, he claimed this year that when he was sworn into office, “there was no national plan to get Americans vaccinated and jump-start our economy.” *Sigh.* Biden, certainly, cannot believe this — or else his mind is in worse shape than we thought.

Both Biden and VP Harris received vaccines before they were sworn into office. They got their vaccines because of Operation Warp Speed that the Trump administration launched to create a war effort-level mobilization of federal public and private resources to manufacture and distribute vaccines.

When Vice President @KamalaHarris and I took office, there was no national plan to get Americans vaccinated and jump-start our economy.

The American Rescue Plan helped us get 500 million shots in arms and set off the greatest single year of job growth in our history.

— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) March 11, 2022

What’s more, if Biden thinks his plan to “jump-start” the economy is some sort of brilliant plan, he’s well and truly lost it. The economy has not been jump-started. The economy is, not to beleaguer the point, not doing well and even entered a technical recession this year even as the Federal Reserve has had to increase interest rates at the most aggressive pace in years to the highest level since 2008.

5. “You couldn’t buy a cannon”

In another of Biden’s favorite lies, he continued to attack the Second Amendment and law-abiding firearm owners this year. In addition to claiming no constitutional right is “absolute,” Biden often quips that “you couldn’t buy a cannon when this [Second] Amendment was passed.” In addition to being a silly argument, it’s false.

Biden’s claim about cannon ownership received “Four Pinocchios” from The Washington Post last June, but Biden continues to repeat the lie year after year. He knows better, but just wants to scare Americans and demonize those who lawfully own firearms to protect themselves, their property, and their families amid rising crime that continues to go unpunished thanks to DAs in Biden’s party.

6. The border is “secure”

Yet another unbelievable lie from Biden and others in his administration is that the U.S.-Mexico border is “closed,” “secure,” or “under control.” If you have eyes or ears and aren’t in a coma, you know this simply isn’t true.

Townhall has covered Biden’s open-border crisis extensively, both from DC and along the border itself:

The Biden administration insists the border is secure. Townhall has seen firsthand it's not.

If Biden will make a claim as brazen as this, nearly every other claim he makes about his work and the condition of the country is called into question.

CATASTROPHIC: Twitter COVID FILES: US Govt Censored Content, Suspended Users, Targeted “Anti-Vaxxers”, Promoted Fear

Mon, 12/26/2022 - 15:54

We have no constitution. Like us, the Constitution has been suspended.

All of us who were permanently suspended from Twitter for Covid or election truths were removed by order of the US government. America has been torn asunder.  Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

I’ve posted the whole thread. Read it all.

Not to beat a dead horse (one of Stanford University’s banned phrases) but Geller Report was reporting on Covid truths and the vaccine dangers since the very first and was blacklisted everywhere. Scroll here.

Jim Baker asked Yoel Roth why Donald Trump telling people not to be afraid of COVID wasn’t a Twitter policy violation.. https://t.co/1kcS9fYaxn

— Benny Johnson (@bennyjohnson) December 26, 2022

2. So far the Twitter Files have focused on evidence of Twitter’s secret blacklists; how the company functioned as a kind of subsidiary of the FBI; and how execs rewrote the platform’s rules to accommodate their own political desires.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

3. What we have yet to cover is Covid. This reporting, for The Free Press, @thefp, is one piece of that important story.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

4. The United States government pressured Twitter and other social media platforms to elevate certain content and suppress other content about Covid-19.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

5. Internal files at Twitter that I viewed while on assignment for @thefp showed that both the Trump and Biden administrations directly pressed Twitter executives to moderate the platform’s pandemic content according to their wishes.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

6. At the onset of the pandemic, according to meeting notes, the Trump admin was especially concerned about panic buying. They came looking for “help from the tech companies to combat misinformation” about “runs on grocery stores.” But . . . there were runs on grocery stores. pic.twitter.com/duzk2I1Y7T

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

7. It wasn’t just Twitter. The meetings with the Trump White House were also attended by Google, Facebook, Microsoft and others. pic.twitter.com/OgOrRxBBBW

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

8. When the Biden admin took over, one of their first meeting requests with Twitter executives was on Covid. The focus was on “anti-vaxxer accounts.” Especially Alex Berenson: pic.twitter.com/yBNeF2YbD3

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

9. In the summer of 2021, president Biden said social media companies were “killing people” for allowing vaccine misinformation. Berenson was suspended hours after Biden’s comments, and kicked off the platform the following month.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

10. Berenson sued (and then settled with) Twitter. In the legal process Twitter was compelled to release certain internal communications, which showed direct White House pressure on the company to take action on Berenson.

https://t.co/CHt0s7ZqfQ pic.twitter.com/dFgRmyRB3z

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

11. A December 2022 summary of meetings with the White House by Lauren Culbertson, Twitter’s Head of U.S. Public Policy, adds new evidence of the White House’s pressure campaign, and cements that it repeatedly attempted to directly influence the platform.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

12. Culbertson wrote that the Biden team was “very angry” that Twitter had not been more aggressive in deplatforming multiple accounts. They wanted Twitter to do more. pic.twitter.com/lZTQV3yKeZ

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

13. Twitter executives did not fully capitulate to the Biden team’s wishes. An extensive review of internal communications at the company revealed employees often debating moderation cases in great detail, and with more care than was shown by the government toward free speech.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

14. But Twitter did suppress views—many from doctors and scientific experts—that conflicted with the official positions of the White House. As a result, legitimate findings and questions that would have expanded the public debate went missing.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

15. There were three serious problems with Twitter’s process:

First, much of the content moderation was conducted by bots, trained on machine learning and AI – impressive in their engineering, yet still too crude for such nuanced work.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

16. Second, contractors, in places like the Philippines, also moderated content. They were given decision trees to aid in the process, but tasking non experts to adjudicate tweets on complex topics like myocarditis and mask efficacy data was destined for a significant error rate pic.twitter.com/lTISX00mo7

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

17 Third, most importantly, the buck stopped with higher level employees at Twitter who chose the inputs for the bots and decision trees, and subjectively decided escalated cases and suspensions. As it is with all people and institutions, there was individual and collective bias

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

18. With Covid, this bias bent heavily toward establishment dogmas.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

19. Inevitably, dissident yet legitimate content was labeled as misinformation, and the accounts of doctors and others were suspended both for tweeting opinions and demonstrably true information.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

20. Exhibit A: Dr. Martin Kulldorff, an epidemiologist at Harvard Medical School, tweeted views at odds with US public health authorities and the American left, the political affiliation of nearly the entire staff at Twitter. pic.twitter.com/K3kwQIdzHG

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

21. Internal emails show an “intent to action” by a moderator, saying Kulldorff’s tweet violated the company’s Covid-19 misinformation policy and claimed he shared “false information.” pic.twitter.com/lq9QOP8h27

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

22. But Kulldorff’s statement was an expert’s opinion—one which also happened to be in line with vaccine policies in numerous other countries. Yet it was deemed “false information” by Twitter moderators merely because it differed from CDC guidelines.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

23. After Twitter took action, Kulldorff’s tweet was slapped with a “Misleading” label and all replies and likes were shut off, throttling the tweet’s ability to be seen and shared by many people, the ostensible core function of the platform: pic.twitter.com/Qa1HpaEray

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

24. In my review of internal files, I found countless instances of tweets labeled as “misleading” or taken down entirely, sometimes triggering account suspensions, simply because they veered from CDC guidance or differed from establishment views.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

25. A tweet by @KelleyKga, a self-proclaimed public health fact checker, with 18K followers, was flagged as “Misleading,” and replies and likes disabled, even though it displayed the CDC’s *own data.* pic.twitter.com/8ABQzYGpXf

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

26. Internal records showed that a bot had flagged the tweet, and that it received many “tattles” (what the system amusingly called reports from users). That triggered a manual review by a human who– despite the tweet showing actual CDC data–nevertheless labeled it “Misleading”

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

27. Tellingly, the tweet by @KelleyKga that was labeled “Misleading” was a reply to a tweet that contained actual misinformation.

Covid has never been the leading cause of death from disease in children. Yet that tweet remains on the platform, and without a “misleading” label. pic.twitter.com/vK5NpWg8KT

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

28. Whether by humans or algorithms, content that was contrarian but true was still subject to getting flagged or suppressed

This tweet was labeled “Misleading,” even though the owner of this account, @_euzebiusz_, a physician, was referring to the results of a published study pic.twitter.com/i1MeLFvYQt

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

29. Andrew Bostom, a Rhode Island physician, was permanently suspended from Twitter after receiving multiple strikes for misinformation. One of his strikes was for a tweet referring to the results from a peer reviewed study on mRNA vaccines. pic.twitter.com/Q65KlRwrqs

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

30. A review of Twitter log files revealed that an internal audit, conducted after Bostom’s attorney contacted Twitter, found that only 1 of Bostom’s 5 violations were valid. pic.twitter.com/ohlmHFOuQX

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

31. The one Bostom tweet found to still be in violation cited data that was legitimate but inconvenient to the public health establishment’s narrative about the risks of flu versus Covid in children. pic.twitter.com/KT3q7Ee9CA

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

32. That this tweet was not only flagged by a bot, but its violation manually affirmed by a staff member is telling of both the algorithmic and human bias at play. Bostom’s account was suspended for months and was finally restored on Christmas Day.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

33. Another example of human bias run amok was the reaction to this tweet by Trump. Many Trump tweets led to extensive internal debates, and this one was no different. pic.twitter.com/kQs1ADPVAk

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

34. In a surreal exchange, Jim Baker, at the time Twitter’s Deputy General Counsel, asks why telling people to not be afraid wasn’t a violation of Twitter’s Covid-19 misinformation policy. pic.twitter.com/SxvOKcvaT7

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

35. Yoel Roth, Twitter’s former head of Trust & Safety, had to explain that optimism wasn’t misinformation. pic.twitter.com/1pj8uvzWR1

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

36. Remember @KelleyKga with the CDC data tweet? Twitter’s response to her is clarifying: “we will prioritize review and labeling of content that could lead to increased exposure or transmission.” pic.twitter.com/0izri6Vrfb

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

37. Twitter made a decision, via the political leanings of senior staff, and govt pressure, that the public health authorities’ approach to the pandemic – prioritizing mitigation over other concerns – was “The Science” . . .

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

38. Information that challenged that view, such as showing harms of vaccines, or that could be perceived as downplaying the risks of Covid, especially to children, was subject to moderation, and even suppression. No matter whether such views were correct or adopted abroad.

— David Zweig (@davidzweig) December 26, 2022

39. What might this pandemic and its aftermath have looked like if there had been a more open debate on Twitter and other social media platforms—not to mention the mainstream press—about the origins of Covid, about lockdowns, about the true risks of Covid in kids, and much more?

Huge Spikes in Neonatal Deaths Following Vaccine Rollout, Data from Major Israeli Health Insurer Show

Mon, 12/26/2022 - 15:00

The greatest failed medical experiment in human histroy. And the criminals are still in charge demanding people receive the poison.

Two spikes in neonatal deaths to be investigated as review announced:

Official figures reveal that the rate of neonatal deaths increased to 4.6 per 1000 live births in March 2022, a 119% increase on the expected rate of deaths. This means the neonatal mortality rate breached an upper warning threshold known as the ‘control limit’ for the second time in at least four years.

Huge Spikes in Neonatal Deaths Following Vaccine Rollout, Data from Major Israeli Health Insurer Show

By: Dr Josh Guetzkow, Daily Sceptic,24 December 2022:

A fearless, selfless Israeli researcher named David Shuldman has worked tirelessly to get data released from the clutches of Government agencies. He recently obtained data via FOIA request on neonatal deaths from the Israeli health insurance fund Maccabi, which covers about 25% of Israelis.

Neonatal deaths are defined as deaths in the first four weeks of life, from the moment after birth until 28 days later. Recently, he obtained data on the quarterly number of neonatal deaths beginning the first quarter of 2019. Here is what that looks like

The quarterly number of neonatal deaths is very low, hovering between 4-8 for 2019 and 2020. Then in the second quarter of 2021, it suddenly jumps three-fold to 17, dips again in the third quarter and then jumps again to 18 in the last quarter of the year.

Since the total number of births changes little from month to month, these spikes are about triple the usual rate of neonatal deaths. (I confirmed this using data from a separate FOIA he filed with monthly data on live births from April 2019.)

In February 2021, the Israeli Ministry of Health started to officially recommend COVID-19 vaccines for pregnant women in their second and third trimesters, so the timing of the second quarter spike would coincide with women being jabbed later in their pregnancy two to four months prior.

The fourth quarter spike coincides with the booster vaccination campaign in Israel in August and especially September – a drive that aggressively targeted pregnant women. Unfortunately, the health insurer claimed not to have information on the vaccination status of pregnant women, so we are not able to differentiate by vaccination status.

However, the spike in the second quarter and again in the fourth quarter of 2021 is similar to what I found earlier this year in an analysis of data from a large Israeli hospital (also FOIA’d by David), where we saw a large jump in the rate of stillbirths, miscarriages and abortions (SBMAs) among vaccinated women in the second quarter (April-June):

Top School Principal Hides Students’ Academic Awards in Name of ‘Equity’

Mon, 12/26/2022 - 14:00

Is there anything more racist and denigrating? Minority children and their parents should be appalled at the vile bigotry of low expectation.

Top school principal hides students’ academic awards in name of ‘equity’

Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology

By Asra Q. Nomani, NY Post, December 23, 2022:

The high school had withheld notifications of National Merit awards under the guise of equity.

For years, two administrators at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJ) have been withholding notifications of National Merit awards from the school’s families, most of them Asian, thus denying students the right to use those awards to boost their college-admission prospects and earn scholarships. This episode has emerged amid the school district’s new strategy of “equal outcomes for every student, without exception.” School administrators, for instance, have implemented an “equitable grading” policy that eliminates zeros, gives students a grade of 50 percent just for showing up, and assigns a cryptic code of “NTI” for assignments not turned in. It’s a race to the bottom.

An intrepid Thomas Jefferson parent, Shawna Yashar, a lawyer, uncovered the withholding of National Merit awards. Since starting as a freshman at the school in September 2019, her son, who is part Arab American, studied statistical analysis, literature reviews, and college-level science late into the night. This workload was necessary to keep him up to speed with the advanced studies at TJ, which US News & World Report ranks as America’s top school.

Last fall, along with about 1.5 million US high school juniors, the Yashar teen took the PSAT, which determines whether a student qualifies as a prestigious National Merit scholar. When it came time to submit his college applications this fall, he didn’t have a National Merit honor to report — but it wasn’t because he hadn’t earned the award. The National Merit Scholarship Corporation, a nonprofit based in Evanston, Illinois, had recognized him as a Commended Student in the top 3 percent nationwide — one of about 50,000 students earning that distinction. Principals usually celebrate National Merit scholars with special breakfasts, award ceremonies, YouTube videos, press releases and social media announcements.

But TJ School officials had decided to withhold announcement of the award. Indeed, it turns out that the principal, Ann Bonitatibus, and the director of student services, Brandon Kosatka, have been withholding this information from families and the public for years, affecting the lives of at least 1,200 students over the principal’s tenure of five years. Recognition by National Merit opens the door to millions of dollars in college scholarships and 800 Special Scholarships from

[….]

In a call with Yashar, Kosatka admitted that the decision to withhold the information from parents and inform the students in a low-key way was intentional. “We want to recognize students for who they are as individuals, not focus on their achievements,” he told her, claiming that he and the principal didn’t want to “hurt” the feelings of students who didn’t get the award. A National Merit spokeswoman said that the organization’s officials “leave this honor exclusively to the high school officials” to announce. Kosatka and Bonitatibus didn’t respond to requests for comment. In a rare admission, Fabio Zuluaga, an assistant superintendent at Fairfax County Public Schools, told me that the school system has erred not telling students, the public, and families about awards: “It was a mistake to be honest.” Zuluaga said it also isn’t enough just to hand over a certificate. “We have to do something special,” he said. “A commendation sends a very strong message to the kid, right? Your work is meaningful. If you work hard in life, there are good benefits from that.”

China Sends 39 Warplanes, 3 Ships Toward Taiwan in 24 Hours

By Military.com, Dec 22, 2022

TAIPEI, Taiwan — China’s military sent 39 planes and three ships toward Taiwan in a 24-hour display of force directed at the island, Taiwan’s defense ministry said Thursday.

China’s military harassment of self-ruled Taiwan, which it claims is its own territory, has intensified in recent years, and the Communist Party’s People’s Liberation Army has sent planes or ships toward the island on a near-daily basis.

Victims of Palestinian Terrorism Sue Biden Admin for Sending Taxpayer Aid to Palestinian Authority

Sun, 12/25/2022 - 18:00

Under President Trump, the Palestinian Authority was defunded by the United States, due to it’s financial support of jihad terrorists. The Biden Administration came into office and renewed the aid. Since the renewal of the aid, Israel has seen a significant spike in (Pay to Slay) Palestinian terrorism.

The America First Legal Foundation has filed a lawsuit against the Biden Administration, claiming that renewing this aid is a violation of the Taylor Force Act. Call your member of Congress and demand that all U.S aid to the Palestinian Authority is stopped. The aid is used by the Palestinian Authority to fund terrorism against Israel. Read below.

“The plaintiffs, led in the suit by the America First Legal Foundation, a watchdog group composed of lawyers, are asking the court to halt the Biden administration’s Palestinian aid program over charges it is sustaining the pay-to-slay program in violation of a 2018 law known as the Taylor Force Act. That law—named after an American who was killed in 2016 by a Palestinian terrorist—bars all U.S. payments to the Palestinian government until it halts the terrorist payment program.”

“The lawsuit, filed in federal court on Tuesday by American victims of Palestinian terror attacks and Rep. Ronny Jackson (R., Texas), alleges the Biden administration is in violation of federal law for resuming U.S. aid to the Palestinian government, according to a copy of the lawsuit exclusively obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. The Trump administration froze these funds due to the Palestinian government’s financial support for terrorists as part of a program known as pay-to-slay.”

Victims of Terrorism Sue Biden Admin for Sending Taxpayer Aid to Palestinians

By The Washington Free Beacon, Dec 20, 2022

Victims of Palestinian terror attacks are suing the Biden administration for awarding nearly half a billion dollars in U.S. taxpayer funds to the Palestinian government, which allegedly uses these funds to pay convicted terrorists and their families.

The lawsuit, filed in federal court on Tuesday by American victims of Palestinian terror attacks and Rep. Ronny Jackson (R., Texas), alleges the Biden administration is in violation of federal law for resuming U.S. aid to the Palestinian government, according to a copy of the lawsuit exclusively obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. The Trump administration froze these funds due to the Palestinian government’s financial support for terrorists as part of a program known as pay-to-slay.

A Very, Merry Christmas To All

Sat, 12/24/2022 - 22:00

Let us put aside the great worries of the nation and remember what’s important and dear – our family, our loved ones, our inner life.

I love this time of year. Yes, I am Jewish but I respect the religious tradition and the celebration of giving, charity, forgiving, love and peace. And while joyous, it is a dangerous and frightening time of the year for Christians persecuted across the world.

So on the eve of Christmas, I am praying for the safety of Christians across the world. We must prepare for what’s ahead and pray that we change the course of history.

I stand in awe of the individuals who read Geller Report. I love the readers, the thinkers, the IT guys, the doctors, lawyers, bakers, candle stick makers, the wonks, the passion, the love, the truth, the Americans from all over the world who seek truth.

I’m wishing you blessings and joy this Christmas.

Wishing all the great defenders a very happy Christmas.

Secret Back Channel Between FTX and White House Closed the Day After FTX Filed for Bankruptcy

Sat, 12/24/2022 - 21:00

What was the big guy’s cut?

The level of criminality and depravity in this administration is only matched by its contempt for the American people and the idea of a nation of laws. No wonder they are treating this degenerate crook like a prince. Do we have any law and order left in this country?

Secret Back Channel Between FTX and White House Closed the Day After FTX Filed for Bankruptcy

By: Jim  Hoft, TPG, December 24, 2022:

The far-left Washington Post reported on March 3 that Ukraine was dealing in crypto.

The Ukrainian government has gathered more than $42 million in cryptocurrency donations since Saturday, plus digital artwork including a limited edition worth roughly $200,000, according to blockchain analytics firm Elliptic. The challenge is how the country cashes in on these assets to fund its war needs.

Amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the CEO of FTX, Sam Bankman Fried has come forward to help a crypto donation project. He humbly announced that FTX will be supporting the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance and other communities in collecting crypto donations for the country. The Ukrainian government has received over $60 million in crypto donations from all over the world.

FTX’s CEO, Sam Bankman Fried highlighted that the war in Ukraine has been dragging on. The country is in full need of humanitarian help and access to global financial infrastructure. He also called attention to sanctions and crypto during this kind of situation. He indicated that crypto exchanges should enforce sanctions announced by the government seriously.

Arizona Judge Makes Final Decision On Kari Lake’s Election Case

Sat, 12/24/2022 - 20:19

Despite election officials admitting that 42% of the ballots were “improper” and that the printers were altered on election day,, illegal actions by Hobbs and mass outages on Election Day, Kari Lake’s election challenge gets rejected.

The entire system is rigged, which leaves us with two scenarios. The first one being our election system is completely corrupted and we can’t have a free and fair election (which I believe) or the second, yes there’s some rigging, but the destructive, treasonous Democrats actually did win.

I don’t know which is worse. They’re both terrible horrible realities.

BREAKING: Arizona Judge Makes Final Decision On Kari Lake’s Election Case

By Clayton Keirns, December 24, 2022

The Hill is reporting that an Arizona judge has officially rejected Kari Lake’s attempt to challenge the results of her 2022 midterms “loss” to Katie Hobbs.

Here’s the scoop from The Hill:

An Arizona judge ruled against Kari Lake in her challenge of Gov.-elect Katie Hobbs’s (D) victory, dismissing the highest-profile case challenging the midterm election results.

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson following a two-day trial found that Lake had not proven that election officials committed intentional misconduct sufficient to change the race’s outcome.

Lake, who lost to Hobbs by about 17,000 votes, had alleged election officials in Maricopa County intentionally sabotaged her victory by causing Election Day printer malfunctions and violating chain of custody procedures.

The judge made this ruling despite election officials admitting that 42% of the ballots were “improper” and that the printers were altered on election day.

TWITTER FILES: FBI, CIA, DoD, Etc. Actively Worked With EVERY Social Media Platform to Control and Censor Speech

Sat, 12/24/2022 - 18:47

A Christmas eve Twitter drop.

In this latest drop we see the FBI, CIA, DoD,State Department, Pentagon, et al dictating censorship to Twitter, Facebook, Microsoft, Verizon, Reddit, even Pinterest, and many others.

This is so vast, so deep, it’s …… the whole of the state.

The files show the FBI acting as doorman to a vast program of social media surveillance and censorship, encompassing agencies across the federal government – from the State Department to the Pentagon to the CIA.

.The government was in constant contact not just with Twitter but with virtually every major tech firm.

We live in a surveillance state.

TWITTER AND "OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES"

After weeks of “Twitter Files” reports detailing close coordination between the FBI and Twitter in moderating social media content, the Bureau issued a statement Wednesday.

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

3.They must think us unambitious, if our “sole aim” is to discredit the FBI. After all, a whole range of government agencies discredit themselves in the #TwitterFiles. Why stop with one?

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

5.The operation is far bigger than the reported 80 members of the Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF), which also facilitates requests from a wide array of smaller actors – from local cops to media to state governments.

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

6.Twitter had so much contact with so many agencies that executives lost track. Is today the DOD, and tomorrow the FBI? Is it the weekly call, or the monthly meeting? It was dizzying. pic.twitter.com/C8d8jntnC0

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

7.A chief end result was that thousands of official “reports” flowed to Twitter from all over, through the FITF and the FBI’s San Francisco field office.

8.On June 29th, 2020, San Francisco FBI agent Elvis Chan wrote to pair of Twitter execs asking if he could invite an “OGA” to an upcoming conference: pic.twitter.com/hj5xZiXvg2

9.OGA, or “Other Government Organization,” can be a euphemism for CIA, according to multiple former intelligence officials and contractors. Chuckles one: “They think it's mysterious, but it's just conspicuous."

37. In another case, Roth concludes a series of Venezuelan pro-Maduro accounts are unrelated to Russia’s Internet Research Agency, because they’re too high-volume: pic.twitter.com/ySsjM4j0j9

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

38.The Venezuelans “were extremely high-volume tweeters… pretty uncharacteristic of a lot of the other IRA activity,” Roth says.

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

39. In a key email, news that the State Department was making a wobbly public assertion of Russian influence led an exec – the same one with the “OGA” past – to make a damning admission:

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

40. “Due to a lack of technical evidence on our end, I've generally left it be, waiting for more evidence,” he says. “Our window on that is closing, given that government partners are becoming more aggressive on attribution.” pic.twitter.com/IZLaxEF6lY

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

41. Translation: “more aggressive” “government partners” had closed Twitter’s “window” of independence.

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

42. “Other Government Agencies” ended up sharing intelligence through the FBI and FITF not just with Twitter, but with Yahoo!, Twitch, Clouldfare, LinkedIn, even Wikimedia: pic.twitter.com/HH5PqKO4Bl

43. Former CIA agent and whistleblower John Kiriakou believes he recognizes the formatting of these reports.

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

44.“Looks right on to me,” Kiriakou says, noting that “what was cut off above [the “tearline”] was the originating CIA office and all the copied offices.”

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

45. Many people wonder if Internet platforms receive direction from intelligence agencies about moderation of foreign policy news stories. It appears Twitter did, in some cases by way of the FITF/FBI.

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

46. These reports are far more factually controversial than domestic counterparts.

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

47. One intel report lists accounts tied to “Ukraine ‘neo-Nazi’ Propaganda.’” This includes assertions that Joe Biden helped orchestrate a coup in 2014 and “put his son on the board of Burisma.” pic.twitter.com/BiTj9SIHgH

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

49. Often intelligence came in the form of brief reports, followed by long lists of accounts simply deemed to be pro-Maduro, pro-Cuba, pro-Russia, etc. This one batch had over 1000 accounts marked for digital execution: pic.twitter.com/zkf4QdUv3E

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

50. One report says a site “documenting purported rights abuses committed by Ukrainians” is directed by Russian agents: pic.twitter.com/2uzXLGP6CG

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

51. Intel about the shady origin of these accounts might be true. But so might at least some of the information in them – about neo-Nazis, rights abuses in Donbas, even about our own government. Should we block such material?

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

52. This is a difficult speech dilemma. Should the government be allowed to try to prevent Americans (and others) from seeing pro-Maduro or anti-Ukrainian accounts?

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

53. Often intel reports are just long lists of newspapers, tweets or YouTube videos guilty of “anti-Ukraine narratives”: pic.twitter.com/6q7IX5S7WM

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

54. Sometimes – not always -Twitter and YouTube blocked the accounts. But now we know for sure what Roth meant by “the Bureau (and by extension the IC).” pic.twitter.com/DpLix07ZvO

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

55. The line between “misinformation” and “distorting propaganda” is thin. Are we comfortable with so many companies receiving so many reports from a “more aggressive” government?

— Matt Taibbi (@mtaibbi) December 24, 2022

56.The CIA has yet to comment on the nature of its relationship to tech companies like Twitter. Twitter had no input into anything I did or wrote. The searches were carried out by third parties, so what I saw could be limited.

WATCH: Outrage as woman praying silently is ARRESTED in UK street – ‘Taken away by police for a thoughtcrime’

Charity worker, 45, asked by officers if she was ‘praying in her head’ arrested

By: Paul Sapper, GB NEWS, December 24, 2022:

Published friday 23 December 2022 – 12:05 Last updated friday 23 December 2022 – 16:02

More than 34,000 people have signed a petition after a woman was arrested on a UK street while ‘praying silently in her head’.

Charity volunteer Isabel Vaughan-Spruce, 45, was standing quietly on a pavement in Birmingham when she was approached, questioned and subsequently arrested by police.

Officers had received complaints from an onlooker who suspected she was praying. She was not holding a sign or making any visible form of protest.

An online petition calls for Home Secretary Suella Braverman to: “intervene and demand that all charges against Isabel Vaughan-Spruce are dropped”.

In a chilling video which captured the exchange between Vaughan-Spruce and police, viewed 1.5 million times on Twitter, a police officer can be seen asking: “What are you here for today?”

Vaughan-Spruce responded: “I’m just standing here.”

The police officer asked, ‘Are you praying?,’ to which Vaughan-Spruce said, ‘I might be praying in my head’.

She was then arrested on suspicion of ‘failing to comply’ with a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO), in what has been branded by critics as a ‘thoughtcrime’.

Black America’s Antisemitism Problem

Fri, 12/23/2022 - 16:00

The worst manifestation of the vicious bigotry is the almost daily attacks on Jews in New York’s religious neighborhoods by black attackers. This is not new but it has reached terrible new highs.

You would think a long suffering, oppressed people would have empathy, show solidarity with another long, oppressed minority. Not so. The oppressed becomes the oppressor.

Black antisemitism is skyrocketing with the tacit approval of the left.

Black antisemitism – no cancellation, no condemnation, no repercussion.

These are frightening times for Jews. The incitement to hatred and violence is a harbinger of terrible things to come.
