The FBI received major backlash on social media after they set up a recruitment tent at a LGBTQ Pride event in North Carolina recently.

In a post on X, the FBI’s Charlotte branch posted a photo of FBI agents with pride flags hanging on a recruitment tent in an effort to recruit attendees of the pride event.

In the post, the FBI wrote “Recently, FBI Charlotte participated in a Pride event where the FBI spoke to attendees about career opportunities and the work the Bureau does to protect civil rights.”

Many users on social media were infuriated the FBI is spending time recruiting at a Pride event instead of investigating the pro-Palestinian protestors who defaced numerous monuments outside the White House on Saturday evening.

How about arresting some of the terrorists who attacked the White House last night? Handing out pride flags instead of American flags? Disgusting.

Besides recruiting at Pride Events, the FBI has also been busy arresting Trump supporters for entering the Capitol on January 6th.

The first North Carolina residents arrested with the help of Charlotte’s FBI was Christopher Raphael Spencer and Virginia Spencer a husband and wife who were charged for  “Parading, demonstrating or picketing in the Capitol” back in 2021.

The latest person arrested and investigated by the FBI’s Charlotte branch is Brett Alan Rotella who was arrested on August 29, 2023 and charged with “Obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder, assaulting officers, and several misdemeanor charges, including entering a restricted building, disorderly conduct in a restricted building, and impeding passage through the Capitol grounds or buildings.”

Islam experts Michael Stürzenberger and Irfan Peci regularly hold events to raise consciousness of the threat of political Islam in Germany, where they expertly engage with and debate angry young Muslims who bristle at any criticism of their religion. On October 21, they held an event in Berlin, during which Irfan Peci spoke to a young Muslim who stated unequivocally that “Every Muslim must want Shariah Law enacted worldwide.”

“I want Sharia Law in Germany, definitely,” the young man sporting a Salafist beard said.

Asked by ex-Muslim activist Kian Kermanshahi whether he would support replacing the German constitution with Shariah Law, the young man said, “Definitely.”

Irfan asked the young man how he would go about doing that.

The young man replied, “Once Muslims are in the majority, it is our duty to conquer Germany.”

“I respect your candor,” Irfan said. He asked whether there is a distinction between “normal” Islam and “radical” or “political” Islam.

“No, of course not,” the young Muslim man said. “Sometimes you want to protect your religion, so you say certain things which are not true, such as there is no such thing as the punishment of chopping off hands (for theft).”

“If necessary, we must use violence to institute an Islamic state once Muslims are a majority,” the young man said.

“Thank you for your honesty,” Irfan said.

The Gateway Pundit shared Thomas Hand’s heartbreaking relief after learning what he thought was the fate of his eight-year-old daughter Emily at the hands of Hamas.

Emily was at the Be’eri Kibbutz at a sleepover with a friend when it was attacked by murderous Hamas terrorists leaving more than 100 people dead in that community.

Initially, he was told his daughter had been murdered.

Now, The Times of Israel reports that Emily is believed to be alive and among those held hostage in Gaza. Israeli authorities informed the family five days ago, according to Channel 12.

Emily’s sister Natalie shared that the family was told on October 31 that it was highly likely that she had been abducted.

The Irish embassy in Israel also confirmed to Irish broadcaster RTÉ that there is a “high possibility” that Emily is being held hostage in Gaza.

An embassy official said the revelation was based on DNA tests which indicated that Emily was not among those whose remains were found at Kibbutz Be’eri, which has led Israeli police to believe she could still be alive and held hostage in Gaza.

Thomas shared his initial tragic relief at the thought that his daughter was dead rather than in the hands of monsters.  “They just said, ‘We found Emily. She’s dead.’ And I went yes! I went yes, and smiled because that is the best news of the possibilities that I knew.”

“That was the best possibility that I was hoping for.  She was either dead, or in Gaza. And if you know anything about what they do to people in Gaza, that is worse than death, that is worse than death.”

“The way they treat you. They’d have no food, no water.  She’d be in a dark room filled with Christ knows how many people, and terrified every minute, hour, day, and possible years to come.”

The current trial by Stalinist AG Letitia James and goofball Judge Arthur Engoron has no victims and no criminal action by Donald Trump or his family members or his business associates.

Yet the trial continues and the Mockingbird media pretends this is completely normal and righteous. Hundreds of fake news outlets were huddled outside the court to report on today’s Trump testimony.

This is judicial abuse like we have NEVER witnessed in American history. Democrats are using the courts to punish their political opposition. It is disgusting. And where are the courageous Americans to stand up to this horrific abuse?

The visit marks the beginning of his numerous progressive stops in the region. His arrival comes against a backdrop of escalating geo-political tensions, as the United States seeks to encourage a more targeted Israeli response to Hamas activities, according to U.S. official sources.

A U.S. insider familiar with Burns’s itinerary highlights the goal of the visit, underscoring the resolve to bolster American commitment to robust intelligence collaboration with regional partners. The visit is also projected to deepen the U.S.’s intelligence network with Israel, focusing on sharing critical information concerning hostage whereabouts or potential Hamas retaliatory attacks.

With Gaza crisis at the focal point, Burns is slated to visit multiple Middle Eastern nations. These strategic visits aim to facilitate dialogues on the ongoing hostage negotiation process, preventing the Gaza war from spiraling into a wider regional conflict, and drawing lessons from past American experiences in the region, notably the Iraq War and the aftermath of the September 11 attacks.

A spokeswoman for the C.I.A. said the agency does not comment on the director’s travel.

Mr. Burns, who has extensive experience in the region, visited as key intelligence leaders in Israel have been heavily criticized for failing to detect the attack and the threat from Hamas more broadly.

Mr. Burns’s visit to Arab countries may be as important as his meetings in Israel.

His exact itinerary is unclear, but he is expected to visit Jordan. King Abdullah II canceled a meeting with Mr. Biden after a blast at a Gaza hospital led to high casualties. While the United States and Israel have blamed Hamas for the explosion, Hamas has said Israel is responsible. Much of Jordan’s population is ethnically Palestinian, putting the country, a close U.S. ally that has a peace treaty with Israel, in an especially tricky position as it navigates the fallout from the war.

Mr. Burns has a particularly close relationship with King Abdullah. He was the ambassador to Jordan when King Hussein died and Abdullah ascended to the throne. King Abdullah recently wrote a letter praising Mr. Burns’s diplomatic skills for a ceremony honoring the C.I.A. director.

Burns’ visit coincides with the arrival of Ohio-class submarines in its area of responsibility (AOR), as The Gateway Pundit previously reported.

“On November 5, 2023, an Ohio-class submarine arrived in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility,” U.S. Central Command wrote on X/Twitter.

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR) includes 21 countries:

The Ohio-class submarines are the largest submarines ever built by the U.S. Navy. They are 560 feet long and 42 feet wide, and displace 18,750 tons when submerged.

The Ohio-class submarine has nuclear weapons. The 14 Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarines (SSBNs) carry about half of the United States’ active strategic thermonuclear warheads that are capable of erasing a country from the map.

On Friday, attorneys for Harrison Floyd as well as counsel for the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office and Fulton County convened for a hearing over a Motion to Quash subpoenas submitted by the defense.  It was also, coincidentally, the three-year anniversary of “the most secure” election “in American History”, according to then-CISA Director Christopher Krebs and harped by mainstream Mockingbird outlets.

Floyd was one of the individuals indicted by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis back in August and, notably, the only individual who was initially denied bond and kept at the Fulton County Prison, where 15 people died in 2022 alone.  Floyd, the former leader of Black Voices for Trump, was on a phone discussion with Trevian Kutti, who was also indicted in the RICO case, while they talked with a poll-worker at a Cobb County police station at the poll-worker’s request.

Friday’s hearing dealt with three motions to quash subpoenas issued by Floyd’s attorneys requesting documents and evidence they deem relevant to the case.  In the hearing, we first heard arguments from the Georgia Secretary of State’s counsel.  He argued that the Secretary of State’s office had complied with “two specific categories going to State Farm arena and the poll worker at issue.”  There was another category of which they claimed they didn’t have responsive records.

Counsel then claimed that the remaining requests “essentially asked for everything about the 2020 election.”  He argued that the requests were “unspecific, mostly not relevant, and super burdensome on the Office.”  He argued that the documents are not relevant to intent because:

“[with] intent, state of mind is addressed as of the moment of the act that gives rise to the alleged wrong.  It’s not retroactive.  The example being homicide and self-defense, what matters is what’s in the actor’s head at the moment the trigger is pulled, not later when he or she may learn that the person they shot had a knife, had some mental illness that was otherwise a danger.“

The analogy doesn’t make any reference to Floyd’s preconceptions about the validity of the election.  A more accurate analogy would be that the actor strongly believed the person they shot “had a knife” (which is perfectly legal in Georgia, a constitutional carry state, but we’ll pretend “having a knife” is a crime for the sake of the attorney’s argument) and only later confirmed they had a knife.  The “believed they had a knife” part was missing from the comparison.  Floyd believed the election was stolen, tried to investigate, and now believes there is evidence their preconceptions were possibly correct.

Secretary of State counsel then went on to distinguish between themselves as a separate State agency from the District Attorney’s Office, and therefore not subject to Brady rules and exculpatory evidence:

Judge Scott McAfee then asked Floyd’s counsel:

“If, lets say there’s some smoking gun locked away in a vault in the Secretary of State’s Office, and Mr. Floyd had no idea had ever existed during the entire timeframe of this alleged enterprise, how is that relevant?”

Counsel responded:

“I focused on Count 1 for the concept of relevance because in that count, we have…numerous references to the election being lost by Donald Trump.  In fact, in the introduction, the State says that not only did Trump lose Georgia, but he and the other defendants charged refused to accept that Trump lost.

What happens if we show that Trump won?“

And the attorney does have a point.  In the criminal indictment filed by Fani Willis, it mentions:

•17 times that President Trump lost the 2020 election including in Georgia and
Fulton County;
• 49 times that the defendants engaged “knowingly” and “willfully” in various
activities to overturn the 2020 election when they allegedly knew their statements
about the election results were false;
• 113 times that there were attempts to “unlawfully” change the outcome of the
election, including in Georgia;
• 145 times that the defendants sought to put the November 3, 2020 election results
at issue with the implication that the results cannot be questioned; and
• 182 times that the RICO defendants engaged in “false statements” concerning
“fraud” in and about the November 2020 elections

If President Trump did in fact win Georgia, and they can prove it, it would be the easiest avenue to victory for those indicted in this politicized persecution.

Lastly, Fulton County’s counsel argued that producing the records would be a burdensome task that could take “months” to fulfill.  Further, he alleged that the ballots would expose personally identifiable information such as names and birthdates, drivers license numbers, and even some social security numbers.  Defendant’s counsel rebutted that they did not want any personally identifiable information and they were only interested in “the count.”  It’s also mentioned that the personal information is only on certain election records, and not the ballots themselves that were among the requested items.

But another important claim surfaced during the defense’s response.  It’s something The Gateway Pundit has reported on numerous times, most recently in my four-part series on Fulton County’s handling of the 2020 election:  Fulton County has a “major discrepancy…the reason they don’t want to turn [records] over is because, I submit, that a lot of the stuff we’ve asked for, they simply don’t have.  And they don’t want to tell you.  At all.  Because for obvious reasons, it impacts the certification of the election itself.”

Fulton County has actually already admitted that they did not properly preserve the majority of in-person ballots from the Nov 3 election in a Requests for Admissions in the Curling v. Raffensperger federal case. 

In the Opposition to the Motion to Quash subpoenas submitted by Floyd’s legal team, they reference many of the issues The Gateway Pundit reported on in the above-mentioned series.  This includes a total of “more than 41,079 presidential votes [that] should have been excluded from the final Fulton County vote tally because they were not and cannot be reconciled or properly validated as legitimate votes.”

It also cites a brief submitted by expert witness Professor Philip Stark of UC Berkley and the inventor of the risk-limiting audit.  Prof. Stark refers to “the loss of hundreds of thousands of image files from the first machine count and of nearly 18,000 images from the second machine count” as “hard to fathom.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky showed this weekend that he is not about to accept loss in the information battlefield, launching what we can call his own ‘PR counteroffensive’ to push back to a campaign of several days of demoralizing news articles and opinion pieces in the Western MSM.

Notably, there was a damaging Time Magazine profile in which aides told – off the record – how the wartime leader became delusional with messianic overtones in his policy-making.

Perhaps even more damaging, his own Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny penned an op-ed in which he stated for all to hear that Ukrainian offensive efforts were locked in a stalemate.

The Presidential Office of Ukraine set about publicly rebuking Zaluzhny’s and firing his top military leader’s deputy.

Now, right as Zelensky is reaching out to the media trying to regain some lost terrain, yet another disturbing article arises, suggesting that Western powers have begun secretly moving towards peace negotiations.

NBC News reported:

“U.S. and European officials have begun quietly talking to the Ukrainian government about what possible peace negotiations with Russia might entail to end the war, according to one current senior U.S. official and one former senior U.S. official familiar with the discussions.

The conversations have included very broad outlines of what Ukraine might need to give up to reach a deal, the officials said. Some of the talks, which officials described as delicate, took place last month during a meeting of representatives from more than 50 nations supporting Ukraine, including NATO members, known as the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, the officials said.

The discussions are an acknowledgment of the dynamics militarily on the ground in Ukraine and politically in the U.S. and Europe, officials said.”

So Zelensky set about trying to reshape the informational battlefield in his favor. To begin with, an opening with a touch of not-so-subtle emotional blackmail.

He said that the cost of no more US aid is the onset of Russian war against NATO.

The Guardian reported:

“’If Russia will kill all of us, they will attack Nato countries and you will send your sons and daughters [to fight]’, Zelensky said. Zelensky made the comments on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday.”

He proceeded to invite former US president – and frontrunner to 2024 – Donald Trump to visit and see the conflict for himself.

“Trump, running again for president in 2024, has been critical of US support for Ukraine and claimed to be able to solve the war in 24 hours.

‘If [Trump] can come here, I will need … 24 minutes to explain to President Trump that he can’t manage this war’, Zelensky said. ‘He can’t bring peace because of Putin’.”

He adopted a non-confrontational tone all along regarding the American leader.

New York Post reported:

“’If he’s not ready to give our territory for this terrible man’, Zelensky went on, ‘if you’re not ready to give our independence…he’s very welcome’.

Zelensky noted that he hasn’t had any contact with Trump since the latter departed the White House and conceded he doesn’t know if the former president would have Ukraine’s back.”

On NBC’s “Meet the Press”, Zelensky went overboard in his demonization of Putin.

In an interview aired Sunday, he said he is ensuring that Russian President Vladimir Putin ‘does not take away the freedoms of Ukrainians’.

The Hill reported on his words:

“I have a lot of power, back even feeling strong. And I have a lot of energy. It doesn’t mean that we want to fight all our lives because the price is high, like I said.

“Because the war takes the best of us, the best heroes, the best men, women, children. That’s it. But we are not ready to give our freedom to this f—ing terrorist, Putin. That’s it. That’s why we are fighting. That’s it.

[…] It’s not the question for us. For us, that is real life. So, you know, we wanted to get your support, like we say, yesterday. That’s why it doesn’t matter it will be today or tomorrow. We just, I think, lose time, lose time. Time is very expensive. That’s why we need your support. But you will get more. You will get more, I’m sure. After our win, you will see all these things.”

Again in the New York Post, it is reported that “despite apparent pressure to negotiate with Putin, Zelensky argued that doing so would be foolish.

‘I’m not ready to speak to the terrorists because their word is nothing’, he declared defiantly.”

But perhaps the most pathetic aspect of his new media offensive is his attempt to counter the very damning assessment by Commander in Chief Zaluzhny.

The general said that modern tech impeded fast military maneuvers, and ISR capabilities mean both sides can see everything the other is doing – so there is not much of an element of surprise.

So Zelensky said that now they’ll be ‘fast and unexpected’.

Ukrayinska Pravda reported:

“Our military is coming up with different plans, with different operations in order to move forward faster and to strike the Russian Federation unexpectedly…

[The Russians] thought they would checkmate us, but this didn’t happen…I don’t think that this is a stalemate.”

Felicia and Cory were not Proud Boys and had just met members of the group that day.  Yet the Biden DOJ prosecuted them as Proud Boys anyway.

Felicia famously told reporters she was not even a boy let alone a Proud Boy!

Now this young mother is looking at up to sic months in prison by this wicked regime.

Here is her story…

A single mother of two, Alexander now 13 years old and Henry 2 years old, she works two jobs, up to 80 hours a week, goes to school, and home-schools her son. She never dreamed that her attendance on January 6 would lead her to the turmoil she is in today, the turmoil of being behind on all of her bills, paying for her legal defense, and securing a future for her children. This is taking a toll on this young mother.

On February 11, 2021, she was subjected to an early morning FBI raid at her aunt’s house where, at the time, Konold was also the primary caregiver for her aunt. Over a dozen fully armed tactical FBI agents blocked off her street and arrested her. When taken to be questioned, Konold declined to speak to the FBI even after being told repeatedly she could view their folder [of evidence] if she would only speak to them. After they finally understood that she was standing hard on the invocation of her 5th Amendment rights, she was taken to a federal prison in Arizona. While there, she spent almost 2 weeks in solitary confinement and was eventually released on her own recognizance tethered to an ankle monitor that after a period of time allowed her to only go to work, school, or the store for essentials.

Initially, Konold retained Attorney Albert Watkins, who she would eventually fire, because this liberal attorney initially advised his client not to do any interviews or media, that is until he set his client up with Alexandra Pelosi (Daughter of former Speaker, Nancy Pelosi), to interview Konold and her brother for the J6 documentary she was making for HBO. When Pelosi asked Konold’s then 10-year-old son, “How does it feel knowing your mommy is a terrorist,” Konold immediately stopped the interview and sent the film crew and their host packing.

Of course, this part was cut out of the documentary. However, being true to form, Pelosi managed to make Konold, along with all of the other J6 defendants who interviewed with Pelosi, look like ignorant and foolish “Trump cult members.”

Now with her third attorney, Nick Smith, who she finds to be a great fit for her, she is signing a plea deal with the prosecution that comes with a recommendation of 0-6 months in federal prison. If she ends up serving any time, which in the case of J6ers happens quite frequently, she is afraid she will lose her job, her schooling, and possibly her children.

Without adequate funding, she feels her children will not be able to get the caregiver they need to keep them away from CPS. Konold goes into sentencing to find out her fate on January 25, 2024. CondemnedUSA.com is asking for any assistance for Konold and her children.

Two members of the Just Stop Oil culy destroyed a classical painting at the London National Gallery on Monday.

The two anti-humanist radicals who want no oil production in England used hammers to smash the glass cover of a painting once famously slashed by a suffragette. They are demanding the government immediately halt all new oil and gas projects in the UK.

At around 10:45 am Hanan, 22, and Harrison, 20, used safety hammers to smash the glass covering the Rokeby Venus. They then addressed the gallery by saying: “Women did not get the vote by voting; it is time for deeds not words. It is time to Just Stop Oil.” They added: “Politics is failing us. It failed women in 1914 and it is failing us now. New oil and gas will kill millions. If we love art, if we love life, if we love our families we must Just Stop Oil.”

The Rokeby Venus was famously slashed in the National Gallery by the suffragette Mary Richardson in 1914. Richardson left seven slashes on the painting, causing particular damage to the area between the figure’s shoulders, however, all were successfully repaired. Richardson’s action was in resistance to the UK government’s imprisonment of Emmeline Pankhurst at the time. She explained her actions after the incident- “I have tried to destroy the picture of the most beautiful woman in mythological history as a protest against the Government for destroying Mrs. Pankhurst, who is the most beautiful character in modern history.”

A Just Stop Oil spokesperson commented:

“Emmeline Pankhurst once said: ‘The argument of the broken window pane is the most valuable argument in modern politics’. Disappointingly little has changed since 1914. From governments destroying the most beautiful character in history, to governments destroying our home, our families and our institutions in order to enrich criminal oil barons and corporations. One of those taking action today, Hanan, 22 a student from London, said:

“Over 100 years ago, the suffragette Mary Richardson attacked the Rokeby venus portrait for the unjust imprisonment of Emmeline Pankhurst. Today I have used similar methods in the fight for climate justice.”

“As a kid I saw myself growing up to be an astronaut or a singer. I saw a future, however ridiculous it was. Now, those day-dreams have ended. The future we are heading for doesn’t allow space for them anymore.”

“It’s always been down to ordinary people to tell their governments when they’ve crossed a line. Civil resistance worked for the suffragettes and it will work for us.”

This protest movement will stop as soon as these criminals are sent to Alaska for a winter without oil. Let’s see how they do then.

A shocking incident unfolded in St. Louis when a 19-year-old man attempted to snatch a baby from a mother’s arms as she crossed the street with her husband.

The event took place in the Central West End neighborhood on a Sunday morning around 8:30 a.m.

Suddenly, a man in a gray hoodie, identified as 19-year-old Anthony McGee, approached the family and tried to grab the baby. The father was quick to intervene, managing to fend off McGee and chase him away.

According to Riverfront Times, earlier Sunday, McGee was accused of smashing a liquor bottle over the head of a 42-year-old woman. Witnesses tried to apprehend him after this brutal attack but were unsuccessful.

He then attacked the 29-year-old parents, causing injuries to the mother’s neck and ear. The teenager’s violent spree didn’t end there; he went on to strangle an 82-year-old woman down the street, breaking both her arms. Several witnesses called 911 in an attempt to stop him.

KMOV reported that a resident of the nearby Hawthorne Apartments reported hearing a woman’s screams and witnessing the elderly woman being restrained by a man. McGee reportedly choked her for over a minute.

The police eventually apprehended him after a frantic chase. Disturbingly, as he was being taken into custody, McGee told the police, “I broke her neck,” a statement that was captured on an officer’s body camera.

Jim Whyte, the executive director of the Central West End Neighborhood Security Initiative, mentioned that their organization’s cameras recorded parts of these attacks, including the attempted baby snatching. McGee, believed to be homeless, was familiar to the organization due to previous incidents. The homeless outreach team had interacted with him on several occasions.

McGee now faces multiple charges, including assault, kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a child, armed criminal action, and resisting arrest. A judge has ordered that he be held without bond. Additionally, McGee faces charges from several other incidents earlier in the month, such as striking a woman in the face and spitting on a police officer.

Some pretty disturbing images are coming out of Ukraine. A video appeared on Telegram today (Sunday) that shows two English speakers (they sound American) coming out of a bunker and trying to persuade two retreating Ukrainian soldiers to return to their lines. The Ukrainians execute the English-speaking soldiers.

Last, we have a captioned video of Ukrainian tank crews trying to retreat from the front. They are being jeered and ordered to turn around. The tank crews do not appear enthusiastic about returning to the front.

In a touching incident that has captured the hearts of many, a Florida deputy responded to a disconnected 911 call only to find himself in a heartwarming situation.

Deputy Scott Pracht of Hillsborough County was dispatched to a residence in the Riverview area. Upon his arrival, he was met by a young boy who had a simple yet endearing intention: he had dialed 911 because he wanted to give the police officer a hug.

This poignant moment was recorded on Deputy Pracht’s bodycam as well as the home’s Ring doorbell camera. The video quickly gained traction on social media platforms after being shared by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Dayana Del Valle, the young boy’s mother, expressed that her son wasn’t fully aware of the purpose of the 911 emergency number.

She mentioned, “To be honest, he doesn’t even know what 911 is.”

Deputy Pracht, understanding the innocence behind the act, responded, “Yeah, I’ll explain it. It’s not a problem.”

When the mother inquired if her son had called the police, the boy candidly replied, “Well, I wanted to give him a hug.”

He then enthusiastically added, “I know what your phone number is – it’s 9-1-1,” before eagerly rushing to embrace the officer.

On Sunday, Moscow downplayed the importance of a ‘sweeping’ new round of more than 100 sanctions imposed by the U.S. over the war in Ukraine.

The Kremlin is saying Washington ‘shouldn’t hold its breath’ in pressuring the Kremlin to stop the offensive, further adding that ‘they will never defeat us.’

The IMF projections suggest it may indeed be the case, as Russia is expected to post bigger economic growth than its US and EU foes.

The sanctions target ‘Russian energy production and revenue, the metals and mining sectors, defense procurement, and those involved in supporting Moscow’s war effort’, according to a statement by the U.S. Treasury Department.

Politico reported:

“’Today’s actions demonstrate our further resolve in continuing to disrupt every link of [the] Russian military supply chain, and target outside actors who would seek to support Russia’s war effort’, U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said in the statement.”

The measures also target ‘seven Russia-based banks, an executive of one of those banks, and one Russia-based financial infrastructure entity’, it said.

But Moscow seemed unimpressed.

“Russia’s Foreign Ministry called the U.S. measures a continuation of an effort aimed at ‘inflicting a strategic defeat on Moscow’. But the Biden administration ‘shouldn’t hold its breath’, ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said, according to the Russian news agency TASS.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the local media ‘sanctions create additional problems. But we have adjusted to the sanctions. We have learned to hedge against sanctions risks’.”

The U.S. Treasury intends to work with international partners ‘to prevent sanctions evasion and export-control violations’.

“Western leaders and Ukraine have repeatedly said they seek to defeat Russia on the battlefield, though some Western leaders have denied what President Vladimir Putin says is a Western plot to carve up Russia and steal its natural resources.

Putin is girding the $2.1 trillion economy for a long war and Western hopes of stoking a swift Russian economic crisis with some of the toughest sanctions ever imposed have not been realised. The International Monetary Fund forecasts Russian growth of 2.2% this year – faster than either the United States or the Euro area.”

Former President Donald Trump told the crowd at the Florida Republican Party’s Freedom Summit on Saturday that he is the only candidate who will prevent World War III.

Many of Trump’s opponents, in both parties, have appeared anxious to involve the US in another war in the Middle East.

During his speech, Trump said that “millions of people” would still be alive if the 2020 election “wasn’t rigged.”

“And when you think of it, how important elections are, you’s have millions of people alive right now,” Trump asserted. “If the election wasn’t rigged, they’d be alive. Ukraine, Israel, The attack would have never been made. All these people would be alive.”

“I make you this promise as your president and nobody else can say it: I will restore peace through strength,” Trump said. “And yes, I am the only one that will prevent World War 3 — because we are very close to World War 3.”

Trump has consistently warned about how close we are getting to World War III.

While speaking in Iowa in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, last month, the former president said, “We are closer to World War III than we’ve ever been.”

He also added during that event that he is “the only one that will prevent World War III.”

“That won’t be a war with army tanks going back and forth, too,” Trump said. “That will be a war with weaponry the likes of which this world has never seen before … I know it. I know it better than anybody.”

According to a new CBS News poll, most Americans think Trump will be better at keeping the US out of war than Biden.

The Hill reports:

When it comes to whether the U.S. will be kept out of war in the near future, voters instilled more confidence in Trump than Biden in keeping the country out of wars. Forty-three percent of voters said that the chances that the U.S. would get involved in a war would decrease if Trump won next year’s election, while 39 percent said the chances would increase under Trump.

If Biden clinches the presidency in 2024, 49 percent of voters said the chances of the U.S. being in a war would increase, and another 23 percent said the chances would decrease under Biden’s leadership. Twenty-three percent said it would not change if he were reelected.

The AOR stretches from Northeast Africa across the Middle East to Central and South Asia. It spans over 4 million square miles.

The Ohio-class submarine is not just any naval vessel. It is a class of nuclear-powered submarines operated by the United States Navy.

The Ohio-class submarines are the largest submarines ever built by the U.S. Navy. They are 560 feet long and 42 feet wide, and displace 18,750 tons when submerged.

He said that Israel had the right to protect their people and land because of all of the innocent lives that were taken by Hamas Terrorists.

He was critical of Jolie referring to Gaza as an “open-air prison. She also said: “This is the deliberate bombing of a trapped population who have nowhere to flee.”

She had served as a goodwill ambassador for the UN for many years and had worked with many refugees. Although her past work is noble, she appears to be misguided in her thoughts toward Israel. Perhaps a little wisdom from Dad is what she should take to heart.

In an all too distracted world, it is good to take time to honor a great man. Thomas Ken Mattingly, NASA astronaut, passed away this past Thursday. He was 87 years old.

He was a very accomplished man who was a former Navy Pilot and joined NASA in 1966. He was involved in spacesuit development for the Apollo Program. Mattingly was part of the Apollo 16 crew which flew to the moon in 1972. He did not walk on the surface but was in the command module as it orbited the moon.

During the space shuttle program, he commanded 2 missions and eventually retired from NASA. His rank upon retiring from the Navy was Rear Admiral.

ABC News reported:

LOS ANGELES — Ken Mattingly, an astronaut who is best remembered for his efforts on the ground that helped bring the damaged Apollo 13 spacecraft safely back to Earth, has died, NASA announced. He was 87.

“We lost one of our country’s heroes on Oct. 31,” NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said in a Thursday statement.

Thomas Kenneth Mattingly II “was key to the success of our Apollo Program, and his shining personality will ensure he is remembered throughout history,” Nelson said.

NASA didn’t mention where or how Mattingly died. However, The New York Times reported that Mattingly died in Arlington, Virginia.

Although he was very accomplished with his mission aboard Apollo 16, he is remembered greatly for helping to save the lives of the crew of Apollo 13 in 1970. He was originally scheduled to be on that mission but was grounded because he was exposed to measles which he did not end up actually getting.

He was replaced on that mission by John Swigert Jr. Mattingly knew the spacecraft well, so when an oxygen tank exploded and compromised the command module, he worked with engineers on the ground to help return the astronauts safely.

He was portrayed by Gary Sinise in the 1995 film Apollo 13 which was directed by Ron Howard.

It turns out that Residents of Crimea, Donetsk, Rostov, and Voronezh regions experienced rare sightings of the Northern Lights, following the onset of a strong magnetic storm.

Additionally, a red glow was only visible in Kiev and other cities in Ukraine.

Euromaidan Press reported:

“Kharkiv astronomer Volodymyr Kazhanov explained that the red sky seen in Ukraine this evening is related to a geomagnetic storm.

‘On the night of November 5-6, bright northern lights are observed in Ukraine, as in many countries of the Northern Hemisphere. There was a powerful geomagnetic storm associated with the bombardment of our planet by a coronal mass ejection that occurred on the Sun a few days ago’, the scientist wrote.”

The phenomenon was also visible in other hyperborean areas of Europe and America.

The Guardian reported:

“The northern lights lit up much of the UK and Ireland on Saturday night – from Orkney and Donegal to parts of southern England including Stonehenge.

The aurora borealis, dancing green and red lights, have captivated people for millennia, and appear during geomagnetic storms. Disturbances in the Earth’s magnetic field result in hours of bright auroras at both high and low latitudes.

‘Northern Lights over Stonehenge last night’, read a post by the official Twitter account for the Wiltshire historical centerpiece, accompanied by a photograph.”

The spectacle of the auroras is usually most visible near Earth’s magnetic north and south poles, where the lights are called the aurora borealis and australis.

It all begins with the solar wind. Its particles travel millions of miles to reach the Earth, where the Earth’s magnetic field channels it to the polar regions.

Depending on which molecules are affected, and also where they are located in the atmosphere, different amounts of energy are released, visible to our eyes as different wavelengths of light,

Oxygen produces green light, while nitrogen causes the sky to glow red.

Moving on, sometimes the color does not conform to the scientific rules.

Live Science reported:

“A recent solar storm smashed into Earth and created what appeared to be bright pumpkin-colored pillars dancing in the night sky above Canada, a haunting new photo reveals. But there is a problem with the image: Orange-colored auroras should not exist. 

Instead of impossible auroras, the image actually captured a rare mix of red and green lights that hasn’t been this visible since a monstrous Halloween solar storm smashed into Earth 20 years ago, experts say. 

‘The orange was sublime, just incredible’, aurora photographer Harlan Thomas told Spaceweather.com. ‘The pillars in the center stayed there glowing for more than 20 minutes’.”

Reportedly, the last time Auroras with such ‘vibrant pumpkin-like hues’ were spotted was the great Halloween storm of 2003, the most powerful solar storm in modern records.

Further down south, not so close to the polar regions, Eastern European countries experienced a rare sighting of a Blood-red sky.

Vox News reported:

“The night sky has taken on a reddish color this evening, as the Aurora Borealis phenomenon has rarely been visible as far as Croatia.

Numerous photos of this unusual phenomenon, which can be seen in parts of Slavonia, Zagorje, Zagreb and even Ukraine, have appeared on social networks.

According to the statements of some eyewitnesses, the sight of the red sky lasted about 15 minutes.”

Ukraine itself- and the new regions that voted to be part of Russia – are located far south of the Arctic Circle, but the northern lights are observed every few years.

But in 2023, it has been seen for the third time, after April 23 and September 25.

Maybe the solar wing that ignited the skies is trying to say something to the warring parties there.
