‘Tom, the ’80s called …’ Tom Perez claims U.S. ‘at war’ with Russia and the look on Alisyn Camerota’s face is PRICELESS (watch)

2 hours 15 min ago

Remember when Mitt Romney debated Obama and talked about what a huge threat Russia was? How badly Obama mocked him? How the media then helped Obama mock him? What was it he said, ‘The 80’s called, they want their foreign policy back’.

Yeah, that’s it.

Interesting how times change …

.@TomPerez: "We are at war" with Russia and President Trump "is compromised." pic.twitter.com/w8HXQq4nnY

‘We are at war with Russia.’

Huh.

Even Alisyn Camerota ain’t buyin’ what Tom’s sellin’. And you know, we have to give her credit for pushing him on releasing the ‘taxes’ question …

He never answered the question!

— Scooby (@Cul3r0) April 25, 2019

Of course, he didn’t.

Russia/USSR interfered in elections since creation after WW1. Social media tactics used in most recent elections in Europe. Chair of DNC made his emails vulnerable. For current Chair to say “We are at war” irresponsible and deliberate exaggeration. Others states interfere too!

Cold War 2.0

Alrighty then.

Total fail, yup.

If you give Tom $4 he’ll jump up and down on I one leg singing Sweet Caroline.

Heck, we’d pay $4 to see that.

Perez is such an ass

— CathleenO (@cmortolani) April 25, 2019

Fair enough.

When was war declared with Russia, do I find shelter quickly? F'n MSM and their meaningless rhetoric

— Jeff Teichreb (@JeffTeichreb) April 25, 2019

Ya’ know, we looked for Congress’ declaration of war against Russia and gosh, golly, gee, we weren’t able to find it.

Shocker, right?

‘TERRIBLY clumsy and unfair’! Dan Crenshaw takes Liz Warren’s ‘student loan forgiveness’ malarkey APART in HEAP BIG brutal way

2 hours 48 min ago

Liz Warren’s big agenda item for conning people into voting for her in 2020 (besides reparations) is pushing the elimination of student loan debt. In essence, Liz’s platform is all about the many ways she can buy peoples’ votes.

Student loan debt is crushing millions of families. That’s why I’m calling for something truly transformational: Universal free college and the cancellation of debt for more than 95% of Americans with student loan debt. Read all about it here: https://t.co/IG9J5CiNb7

— Elizabeth Warren (@ewarren) April 22, 2019

There’s just one big problem with her ‘plan’. Ok, so there are several problems with this hot mess BUT the biggest problem of all is who this policy would actually help. Rep. Dan Crenshaw was more than happy to lay it out for Liz in case, you know, she missed it.

Loan forgiveness for people making up to $250k?

This plan effectively asks all Americans, many of whom never got a degree, to give their tax dollars to people who CHOSE to take out a student loan so that they COULD get a job paying $250k a year.

Terribly clumsy & unfair policy. https://t.co/QEBslfT1Xa

— Rep. Dan Crenshaw (@RepDanCrenshaw) April 23, 2019

Elitism promoted and facilitated by the government.

It’s the Democrats’ way.

In her article she says K-12 is free to everyone. If that’s true then why am I always having people come to my door with fundraisers?!

— Matt Dawson (@SaintRPh) April 23, 2019

And technically it AIN’T free. Where does she think funding for public schools comes from? The magical money tree?

And what about us that have replayed our student loans? We’re having to pay for those that haven’t. It’s a joke.

— Marshall Taylor (@MarshallTMusic) April 24, 2019

It’s sort of like immigrants who came to this country legally, right? Those who have repaid their student loans put in the work, they followed the rules and now Liz wants the government to look the other way for those who have NOT repaid their debt so she can buy their votes. Granted, deep down she knows Republicans will never let this fly and then she could just blame them when student debt doesn’t go away.

Looking at this policy, it seems Liz only cares about helping the WEALTHY.

Ain’t that a kick in the head?

‘Beyond parody’: Two of the biggest Dem losers in 2018 want to help 2020 candidates talk to Trump voters

Former Senators Heid Heitkamp (SD) and Joe Donnelly (IN) have an ingenious plan to help their fellow Dems running for president in 2020 reach out to Trump voters:

Chaser. . .

Um, they did a really bad job talking to Trump voters which is why they’re former senators right now:

So two Democrats who couldn’t talk to Trump voters themselves and therefore lost their own Senate elections have a plan now? https://t.co/atKPlyAAUw

As president, Kamala Harris vows to use executive actions on guns…because that worked out so well for Obama

Tue, 04/23/2019 - 18:28

At the CNN town hall last night, 2020 hopefull Kamala Harris pledged to use her power as president to issue executive actions on guns if Congress refuses to act:

Sen. Kamala Harris says if she is elected President, she will give Congress 100 days "to get their act together and have the courage to pass reasonable gun safety laws, and if they fail to do it, then I will take executive action" https://t.co/KFdn5Viqm1 #HarrisTownHall pic.twitter.com/Ds8DxObhAY

— CNN (@CNN) April 23, 2019

For starters, this is obviously not how the Constitution works:

This is not how the Constitution works. https://t.co/UYLrYAdPQG

— Jim Geraghty (@jimgeraghty) April 23, 2019

That’s not how laws work in this country. There isn’t a clock that magically gives the executive authority to legislate if Congress chooses not to act on their priorities. https://t.co/DiaBW8pqIN

— (((AG))) (@AG_Conservative) April 23, 2019

If only she would get this tough on felon voters:

Kamala Harris has talked tougher about America’s legal gun owners than the Boston Marathon bomber. https://t.co/knxTJQoeuY

— Cam Edwards (@CamEdwards) April 23, 2019

Dems only hate this idea when it’s a Republican, however:

This, right here, is our bipartisan problem. This is exactly the argument Obama made with DACA, and it’s the argument Trump has made with the wall. The problem isn’t partisan, it’s structural. And it’s getting worse. https://t.co/hBT7TT0T3N

— Charles C. W. Cooke (@charlescwcooke) April 23, 2019

If Congress “refuses to act,” nothing happens. Congress makes the laws. If it declines to do so, the status quo obtains. The president is not a monarch, and he does not magically inherit legislative powers in such cases as the legislature displeases him.

— Charles C. W. Cooke (@charlescwcooke) April 23, 2019

What she’s also missing here is that Obama tried to go the executive action route and still didn’t accomplish what he wanted to accomplish. Maybe she should at least acknowledge that there’s not much she can do?

Valerie Jarrett, former senior adviser to President Obama, says his administration "did what we could do by executive action" on gun reform, adding that she believes Congress will now "be forced to act" #MarchForOurLives https://t.co/Pj9OTXHFHR

— Jennifer Hansler (@jmhansler) March 24, 2018

Full details here:

100 Americans are killed by guns every single day. Gun violence is a national epidemic and it’s time we take action. Tonight I announced the executive actions I intend to take in my first 100 days as president if Congress refuses to act.https://t.co/elch3KYvNC

Relax everyone, the Krassenstein brothers have weighed in on the Mueller report

Tue, 04/23/2019 - 00:38

After Thursday’s release of the nearly 2 years long Robert Mueller snipe hunt a number of media figures embarrassed themselves while writhing to extricate themselves from culpability. As they tried to out-humiliate each other a question had been posed: Have the Krassensteins weighed in on this matter?!

While avoidance is always the pragmatic decision in these cases sometimes you have to reach out and touch the fire, just to be reminded. And so exploring the Bieber Brothers today has been a revealing look into what oblivious delusion looks like.

Congress needs to make it a crime to "knowingly allow a foreign government to help a political campaign." Otherwise Russia will elect Trump president once again in 2020, since he's doing nothing to stop them.

Who's with me?

— Ed Krassenstein (@EdKrassen) April 21, 2019

There is the temptation to alert Eddie The Kruiser here of Hillary’s willing participation with the Ruskies and Ukrainians in 2016, but that may send Eddie into a tailspin.

If you read the Mueller report and you still think that Trump is exonerated, then you didn't actually read the Mueller report.

— Ed Krassenstein (@EdKrassen) April 22, 2019

The investigation did not establish that the Trump campaign coordinated with the Russian government“.

That is in the report. In reading through this exhaustive volume in order to uncover that particular phrase one would have to delve all the way to…PAGE TWO of the report.

If we don't impeach Donald Trump, we set a precedent that all future presidents can obstruct justice and willingly accept help from foreign enemies. If you support Trump, ask yourself how you will react if a future Democratic candidate accepts help from ISIS to win an election.

— Ed Krassenstein (@EdKrassen) April 22, 2019

Enemies?! Are we wrong remembering President Obama established in the debate with Mitt that Russia was no longer our enemy?

It’s sickening that the GOP is now OK with cooperating with our enemies to win elections. Every American should we fed up with this madness.

— Ed Krassenstein (@EdKrassen) April 21, 2019

What makes this part so damned funny is that Mueller spent nearly two years and came up with nothing to show cooperation. Yet it has been widely reported — that is, proven — that Hillary obtained oppo-research from the Russians. Not sickening, not madness, mind you.

pic.twitter.com/hsr6VMi8mx

— Michael Scarn (@Mr_Scarn) April 22, 2019

Funny thing Ed, it makes you sick when conservatives work with Russians but not when the Clintons, or Obama, or Adam Schiff do it? Why is that Ed?

— Bill Daniel (@BillDaniel5) April 22, 2019

Let’s peer over at his Wonder Twin, Brian, and see if there is anything approaching constructive thought.

Thank you Robert Mueller. You have conducted yourself with honor and with integrity.

Every American owes you a Big THANK YOU!

— Brian Krassenstein (@krassenstein) April 22, 2019

For…?? Coming up empty-handed? Clearing the President for reelection? Unplugging 2+ years of media subterfuge??

Hillary Clinton should donate her voice to an audio book which reads the Mueller Report.

All proceeds can go to reimburse the millions stolen by Trump University from clients.

Whenever Hillary reads Trump's name she can hysterically starter laughing.

Who would buy one?

— Brian Krassenstein (@krassenstein) April 22, 2019

You have to appreciate Bri closing this insipidness with a rhetorical, as if aware nobody would drop a dime on such. But then he thinks Hillary even wants to go anywhere near this after her Steele dossier has been outed as a farce that she funded.

Lets pretend that there really was "No collusion" & "no obstruction" despite the report saying otherwise.

The Fact that Trump sought help from Russia, got help from Russia, embraced help from Russia, didn't report help from Russian, then lied to America about it, is IMPEACHABLE!

— Brian Krassenstein (@krassenstein) April 22, 2019

It is an amazing thing to see — two minds who think as one, and yet together cannot manage enough cerebral thought to amount to full brain power.

WTF?! No prison time for Massachusetts man who sent white powder letters to Donald Jr. and Eric Trump

— Tammy Bruce (@HeyTammyBruce) April 19, 2019

Well, yeah . . . prison is SUPPOSED TO BE HARD. From Fox News:

On Friday, Federal Judge Nathaniel Gorton said he declined to send Frisiello to prison because of concerns the 25-year-old would not respond well to incarceration. Frisiello’s lawyer has said the man is developmentally disabled. But Groton stressed the sentence wasn’t “lenient”

Frisiello thanked Groton and said the past year has been “hell” for his family. Prosecutors objected to the sentence.

During the period of probation, Frisiello is prohibited from contacting victims in the case, sending letters through the mail, accessing the internet, and possessing and accessing computers.

According to media reports, that was out of character for the judge:

There was a collective gasp in the courtroom when Judge Gorton, known for handing down tough sentences, chose not to imprison Daniel Frisiello, who wrote threatening letters with white powder to many, including the sons of @realDonaldTrump https://t.co/k0Xi29HtHI via @BostonGlobe

Now that the Mueller report has been released and Democrats are trying to figure out where to go next, Dan Bongino says it’s time to follow this trail to its completion:

Now it’s time for the REAL collusion investigation – the collusion between the Hillary campaign and Russians, and the collusion between the Obama administration and foreign intelligence spying on the Trump team. This is the real scandal.

‘Nailed it’! Becket Adams pinpoints why the Resistance is their own worst enemy in blistering thread

Fri, 04/19/2019 - 15:09

While the Mueller didn’t exactly make Donald Trump look like a choirboy (and face it: he’s not), it also failed to deliver the “collusion” bombshell that the Resistance was hoping for. Still, though, bitter clingers like MSNBC’s Chris Hayes believe that Donald Trump has done enough to make past presidents’ flaming corruption look tame by comparison:

Started laughing maniacally for a moment recalling the momentous scandal that was Bill Clinton hopping onto Loretta Lynch's plane for a chat.

— Chris Hayes (@chrislhayes) April 18, 2019

Chris may think he’s being cute or clever here, and it may get him those sweet likes and retweets, but as the Washington Examiner’s Becket Adams — who’s hardly a Trump cheerleader — points out, this sort of B.S. isn’t doing the Resistance any favors in the long run:

this attitude is part of the reason so much legitimate trump criticism falls on deaf ears: because many of the people pushing it the loudest also maintain that their own rotten team is mostly pure or at least victim of an overreactive, unfair public. https://t.co/OHKP14RvWL

— T. Becket Adams (@BecketAdams) April 19, 2019

an off-the-books meeting between the U.S.'s top cop and a former president/spouse of the target of an ongoing federal investigation, from which the top cop refused to recuse herself, is on its face shady and ethically dubious.

— T. Becket Adams (@BecketAdams) April 19, 2019

learning later from congressional testimony that the same AG's DOJ also instructed the FBI not to charge the investigation target with "gross negligence," even though AG explicitly testified that she deferred the matter to the FBI, certainly seems scandalous.

— T. Becket Adams (@BecketAdams) April 19, 2019

and for that matter, the secretary of state maintaining a homebrew server in her personal bathroom so as to avoid normal record keeping procedure and laws is a scandal.

— T. Becket Adams (@BecketAdams) April 19, 2019

the extrajudicial killing of an American citizen via drone strike is a scandal.

— T. Becket Adams (@BecketAdams) April 19, 2019

but if you're all "he wore a tan suit" and "but her emails," you're mostly signaling you're interested in trump corruption insofar as it can be used to whitewash your own team's malfeasance.

— T. Becket Adams (@BecketAdams) April 19, 2019

a mindset that says "can you believe people thought this legitimate scandal was a scandal?" tells people you're either delusional or a liar, neither of which will get people who don't already agree with you to take your trump criticism seriously.

— T. Becket Adams (@BecketAdams) April 19, 2019

downplaying past abuse by playing up current abuse suggests you don't care that bad people are in power. it suggests you care only that *your* bad people are not in power.

‘Remember THEM’: Mollie Hemingway calls Julia Ioffe out in a VICIOUS way during heated back and forth on Mueller Report

Fri, 04/19/2019 - 14:44

If we see one more yahoo in the media patting themselves on the backs pretending the Mueller Report in some way exonerated their coverage of the president over the past two years we may toss our computer out of the window and run screaming from the room.

It’s unreal how lacking in self-awareness these people really are … like Julia Ioffe for example.

One of my main conclusions from them #MuellerReport so far is that the vast majority of *reporting* on Trump and Russia was extremely accurate.

— Julia Ioffe (@juliaioffe) April 18, 2019

Extremely accurate.

Gosh, if memory serves the media spent the last two years insisting Trump colluded with Russia and yeah, THAT was inaccurate. So WTF is Julia even talking about here?

Explanation (because some of you clearly need one): of the evidence presented in the Mueller report, there is a ton we already knew from the REPORTING on the investigation. I say REPORTING—rather than hot take analysis on TV, Twitter, and elsewhere—deliberately.

— Julia Ioffe (@juliaioffe) April 18, 2019

Yes, it’s other people who need an explanation, Julia.

One must wonder if she’s bright enough to see the irony of her own tweet. Hot takes analysis is EXACTLY what she just did.

This is delusional and sick and sad, obviously, but I retweet so that you will REMEMBER THE NAMES OF THE PEOPLE who fed you the fake Russia hoax. Remember them. https://t.co/RUBszCldw4

— Mollie (@MZHemingway) April 18, 2019

Mollie wasn’t having ANY of it.

I'm sure she didn't *mean* it as a threat… https://t.co/tpDJns3YXI

— Julia Ioffe (@juliaioffe) April 18, 2019

Sweet baby corn, for real?

You know what, we got nothin’.

A CNN guest who straight up blamed Jews after a synagogue was shot up by a racist madman is now accusing @MZHemingway of “threatening” her because Mollie…mocked her collusion delusion and total lack of self-awareness of same. https://t.co/ZB1NQj2b1x

— Sean Davis (@seanmdav) April 19, 2019

Nobody claimed these people were the brightest crayons in the box. Seriously, she just said the report showed how accurate their reporting was.

That’s a whole lotta derp.

And for those who are wondering: yes, this is the same @juliaioffe who was fired by Politico for publicly accusing the president of fornicating with his own daughter. She’s clearly handling things really well and not at all like a deranged loon who should probably get help.

— Little momma (@ChiassonKrista) April 19, 2019

Resistance alarm! Rachel Maddow wants Mueller himself at the Barr/Rosenstein presser tomorrow

Wed, 04/17/2019 - 22:35

The release of a redacted version of the long-awaited Mueller report will happen tomorrow, and the top two people at the Justice Department will kick it off with a press briefing:

Attorney General Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein will hold a press briefing on the Mueller report at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday https://t.co/odvGBjVb1q

— The Wall Street Journal (@WSJ) April 17, 2019

As we told you earlier, a dubious survey has shown that most Americans don’t believe the report will clear President Trump, and another detail about tomorrow morning’s release of the report has, of course, triggered MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow:

You don’t say! Rashida Tlaib’s been palling around with another anti-Semitic terrorist apologist

Wed, 04/17/2019 - 21:37

You can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep. So just in case Rashida Tlaib’s open anti-Semitism wasn’t evidence enough that she’s an anti-Semite, consider who she’s been palling around with lately:

SCOOP: ⁦@RashidaTlaib⁩ was seen hosting another anti-Israel activist who has a documented history of supporting multiple Islamic terror organizations. https://t.co/ibe7sXG0Ci

— Molly Prince (@mollyfprince) April 17, 2019

As the Daily Caller reports, Tlaib recently met and was photographed with Joe Catron during American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C. For those of you unfamiliar with Catron’s oeuvre, here’s more:

Catron is a long-time extreme anti-Israel activist and has openly supported terrorist organizations. He serves as the U.S. coordinator of Samidoun, the Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network. Samidoun is an affiliate arm of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a Palestinian Marxist–Leninist and revolutionary socialist organization. The United States designated PFLP a terrorist organization in 1997, and Australia, Japan, Canada and the European Union shortly followed suit.

Catron’s cover photo on both of his personal Twitter and Facebook accounts is a montage of a PFLP fighter donned in the organization’s official logo, as well as rockets and soldiers pointed towards a target over the state of Israel. It also displays the Arabic phrase “If you do [more attacks on Gaza] we will do [as well], hell is waiting for you.” The phrase is attributed to Mohammad Deif, the supreme military commander of Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing.

In addition to supporting PFLP and Hezbollah, Catron has also be an advocate for the Sunni-Islamist fundamentalist and terrorist organization Hamas. In 2014, Catron was a participant in a press conference alongside Tawfiq Abu Naim, the head of Hamas-run security forces in Gaza. The press conference was to support Palestinian prisoners, according to The Gaza Scoop.

The Daily Caller’s report also includes some of Catron’s disturbing tweets.

In February, Joe Catron tweeted "I ♡ Hizbullah." Two months later, he was pictured meeting with Rep. Tlaib outside her office. https://t.co/zCDNpLgUAr

— Luke Rosiak (@lukerosiak) April 17, 2019

There is, of course, plenty more where that came from:

UH OH! Another 2020 Dem will defy DNC brass to have a town hall on Fox News

Wed, 04/17/2019 - 18:31

DNC chair Tom Perez has previously made it clear that he’s not interested in having any Dem debates on Fox News:

Just to be clear, Fox News will not serve as a media partner for the 2020 Democratic primary debates.

— Tom Perez (@TomPerez) March 6, 2019

Perez was also on Fox News recently and he asked Bill Hemmer to have a word with the network’s executives so it becomes a more attractive outlet for Dems who are running for president:

DNC chairman Tom Perez to Bill Hemmer on Fox News this morning: "I don't have faith in your leadership at Fox News at the senior levels." https://t.co/iNchUyE3NC

‘Disgusting bulls***’! Ben Shapiro drops the hammer on WaPo and Talia Lavin for this blatant, ‘gross’ smear job; UPDATED

Tue, 04/16/2019 - 20:29

As Twitchy told you yesterday, the Bulwark’s Molly Jong-Fast accused Ben Shapiro of politicizing the Notre Dame fire because Shapiro emphasized what made and still makes Notre Dame so special:

If we wish to uphold the beauty and profundity of the Notre Dame cathedral, that means re-familiarizing ourselves with the philosophy and religious principles that built it.

— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) April 15, 2019

Not to be outdone, disgraced former New Yorker fact checker, current NYU journalism instructor, and eternal garbage person Talia Lavin wrote an opinion piece for the Washington Post:

I wrote for the @washingtonpost about how the far right spread sinister, Islamophobic explanations for the Notre Dame fire, playing into a broader narrative of civiliztional conflict: https://t.co/Wz4lPZnKgr

— Talia Lavin (@chick_in_kiev) April 16, 2019

What she wrote was garbage.

This article is packed with full lies, half truths, assumptions, conspiracies, and was written with malicious intent. https://t.co/0Ft4LXEMBc

— The Reagan Battalion (@ReaganBattalion) April 16, 2019

To make her case that “the far right” has been spreading lies about the fire, Lavin groups Shapiro in with conspiracy theorists and white supremacists. These tweets are apparently supposed to serve as evidence that Shapiro’s a neo-Nazi:

Absolutely heartbreaking. A magnificent monument to Western civilization collapsing. https://t.co/UajArjkt2g

— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) April 15, 2019

It is. And that is why it is a central monument to Western civilization, which was built on the Judeo-Christian heritage. https://t.co/cS9oFzNz1P

— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) April 15, 2019

Now, Shapiro’s pushing back against the ugly narrative Lavin is peddling. He’s pissed off — and he has every right to be:

This, from @chick_in_kiev, in The Washington Post, is the sheerest form of disgusting bulls***. I blamed no one for the Notre Dame fire, since it was an accident by all available evidence, and imputing malicious intent to me is simply gross. https://t.co/e5gvQqQc2G pic.twitter.com/T98E2JWJXe

— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) April 16, 2019

Is there no low to which Talia Lavin will not stoop to slime conservatives? The answer, it would seem, is no.

Shapiro was tacitly saying the West is superior — but he always says that

— Poll Cat (@gato_danger) April 16, 2019

I wasn't tacitly saying Western civilization is superior to other civilizations. I openly say it, because I believe Western civilization is superior to other civilizations. In fact, I wrote an entire book on the topic, in which I explain why. https://t.co/5xxT67KKj6 https://t.co/u02Ju84WmH

— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) April 16, 2019

Believing in the superiority of Western civilization in the way Shapiro believes in it does not make him an alt-right neo-Nazi bigot. But suggesting it does makes Talia Lavin a mendacious, vindictive little troll. And it doesn’t speak highly of the Washington Post that they’d green-light such a blatant hit job.

Hey, @washingtonpost, any interest in fixing this nonsense? I noted that Notre Dame is a monument to Western civilization because it is. That has nothing to do with blaming Muslims, and to suggest it does is simply a lie.

— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) April 16, 2019

WaPo’s Credibility Dies in Sunlight.

Ridiculous. https://t.co/WVtSZJxOFx

— Pradheep J. Shanker (@Neoavatara) April 16, 2019

What in the actual hell. Everything — EVERYTHING — Ben wrote on Notre Dame, to this TLM Catholic, was comforting and respectful, even uplifting (and he apologized for a poorly timed joke, to boot). This is a disgrace of an article, but I don't expect better from her. https://t.co/hbvLay5MYa

— Emily Zanotti (@emzanotti) April 16, 2019

***

Update:

This should really tell you all you need to know about Talia Lavin’s endgame:

Perhaps my favorite of this piece is the ending, wherein Lavin calls for me to be silenced. So her lie was the precursor to a call for censorship. Of course. pic.twitter.com/gIAXDD9cym

Michelle Obama good enough to remind us why we DON’T MISS HER one bit with her nasty comments about ‘divorced dads’

Tue, 04/16/2019 - 20:01

Hey, good news.

Michelle Obama is still as awful as ever.

Take a look.

"We come from a broken family, we are a little unsettled. Sometimes you spend the weekend with divorced dad. That feels like fun but then you get sick. That is what America is going through. We are living with divorced dad." — Michelle Obamahttps://t.co/fkasDo4zKH

— Chris Cillizza (@CillizzaCNN) April 16, 2019

From CNN:

In an interview in London for her new memoir “Becoming,” former First Lady Michelle Obama delivered a stinging assessment of the state of American politics and, specifically, of President Donald Trump. Said Obama:

“We come from a broken family, we are a little unsettled. Sometimes you spend the weekend with divorced dad. That feels like fun but then you get sick. That is what America is going through. We are living with divorced dad.”

Wow, she has learned NOTHING.

Way to crap all over single dads all across the country, Michelle.

She was, and is, and will be just a hater of all things American!

— Blaine Massey (@BlaineMassey4) April 16, 2019

— corey schoenfelder (@dirtbucket15) April 16, 2019

Bingo.

Apparently us divorced fathers are irresponsible and unfit to take care of our children. Thanks for the beatdown and negative stereotyping

— Bryan Bucher (@BryBucher) April 16, 2019

I'm a divorced Dad. I'm not running out w/friends when my son is sick. My ex was more interested in just that, among many factors for why we split up! I get that Mrs Obama was joking, but your article took it to another level & unfairly characterize the Dads who great parents

Yep. More from the Washington Examiner’s Jerry Dunleavy:

When Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez proclaimed that Democrats should “pack the Supreme Court of the United States of America,” she was floating a fringe fantasy of increasing the number of justices from nine to 15 as a way of kick-starting a left-wing transformation of America.

Now, the idea has gone mainstream. No longer the little-known primary candidate she was when she was speaking on Oct. 1 last year, Ocasio-Cortez, 29, is in the House of Representatives and her massive social media profile has propelled her to international fame.

AOC, as she is almost universally known, is one of the most prominent faces of the Democrats. Her pronouncements and the uncompromisingly radical section of the progressive movement she appeals to is pushing the Democratic party to the left.

Four 2020 candidates are following her lead and have endorsed or are open to “packing the court.” The pressure group Pack the Courts is advertising using Means of Production, a self-described pro-Marxist production firm that produced viral online ads for Ocasio-Cortez.

So maybe Senate Dems’ beef with Mitch McConnell is really just an exercise in shameless deflection. Yeah, that sounds about right.

We're in the midst of a judicial vacancy crisis and the nominees have been rated by the ABA to be better qualified than even Obama's nominees—and we all know the ABA is not lax on conservatives.

Maybe stop playing politics with the courts?

Playing politics is all they have left.
